  • Happy Dog

"Breathtaking sunsets set to a sound track of birds, crickets, cows, distant surf and sea bells. We never repeat vacations but have made our reservations for 2018. Had a great time having our dog with us, and he loved it. We did a number of geocaches and though we didn't find each cache we found beautiful vistas all over the Island and then came back to the Lewis farm for the best view of all. One warning if you're over 6 foot watch your head going into the kitchen. The Lewis's were charming and we felt honored to be on the property of a family that has such a legacy in preserving the Island."

  • A+

"The views from this house are wonderful. The kitchen is nicely equipped. The sheets and towels provided are attractive and clean. All of it is newish and not the sort of beat up left over type of things one sometimes finds appointing a rental house. Obvious care has been put to providing games, books, beach toys, and more. Noticeably missing is the musty smell common to many Block Island houses. We traveled to Block Island at the time of tropical storm Hermine. The owner could not have been more proactively helpful in advising and comforting us on our travel plans, having much more knowledge about the matter than we. A wonderful experience and vacation."

  • Great house for an extended family vacation

"We had an extended family of 15 and this house served our needs perfectly! It was clean and well kept, spacious and cheerful with many separate areas for everyone to have their own space. We had 4 small children and there was ample room for them to spread out either upstairs on the deck, the two living rooms, or downstairs in the screened in porch. The swing set was also a hit, conveniently located off of the back patio. Everyone had their own bedrooms and there was never a problem with fighting over bathrooms. The front porch was a nice bonus and the house is on a quiet street, nice for walks down to the pond. The linens and towels were clean and of good quality, and made the stay much more homey. The owner, Robin, certainly thought of everything and was super accommodating and easy to communicate with. Any issues we had were minor and were addressed quickly. We had an absolutely wonderful time and enjoyed the proximity to beaches and the convenience of stores and restaurants close by. I would highly recommend this rental to others wishing for a nice house for a big family to stay in."

  • Perfect Home for a Relaxing Vacation

"This home in Rhode Island was perfect! We have 5 couples who choose a different vacation spot for a week each year. This one was our favorite so far. The house is immaculate, beautifully decorated, and has plenty of room. The open kitchen was great for the cooking, and it had all the pots, utensils, etc. that you would need. We also had the downstairs apartment, which had its own BR, BR, kitchen and living area. Just perfect. The backyard was great-on 2 particularly hot days, we opted to sun in the backyard rather than go the beach. Nice big tree for shade, or sun for those of us tanning. Joe, the owner, was great to work with. Very personable, good communicator. As a matter of fact, one of the group is planning on coming back next year with her extended family. Would highly recommend this property without hesitancy."
