  • Ideal Location for our multi generational "Girls" Weekend

"A group of friends/extended family traveling to the area for the Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival, found this to be an ideal location. Easy walking distance to the Jamestown-Newport Ferry. Easy walking distance to our favorite local restaurants: Jamestown FiSH and Slice of Heaven. Pictures almost capture the charm of this Victorian Mansion, but cannot really convey the joy of sitting with a cup of tea or glass of wine on the lovely porch overlooking the harbour and Pell Bridge. Sunrise & Sunset were both spectacular. Jazz music played briefly from next door added to the ambience and the neighbors were also very friendly. Although our numbers did not justify such a large house it will be very hard to not book this lovely home again next year or on other visits to Jamestown. I hope to return soon to the Middle Sister with more time to relax and enjoy the property. As well as return to spend more time on the Patio at Jamestown FiSH enjoying something bubbly by the Fire-pit or in the Dining room enjoying the fabulously prepared local seafood and produce. Thank you Libby! Thank you FiSH! Thank you Newport Mansions Preservation Society!"

  • Perfect spot to make vacation memories!

"This house offers everything as described! We just got back from staying at this amazing home on Bonnet Shores which provided a beautiful place for family bonding and memory making. There are 14 people in our group ranging from 4-64 and there was plenty of room for everyone. We took advantage of the yard for games, the kitchen for luau and mardi-gras parties, and the large table for family dinners and card games. Morning coffee on the deck with the sounds of the ocean was a favorite of the early risers. The owners are friendly and helpful and the house is in pristine condition with plenty of parking. During our stay we visited Newport, Point Judith as well as 3 easy to get to beaches, Narragansett Town Beach was our favorite. Hope to vacation here again next summer!"

  • Relax in Our Beach House

"This house in Watch Hill is adorable and very clean. The yard is manicured and we found everything as described. It is tastefully decorated. The owners were very approachable and eager to assist and answer any questions our group had. The beds were all very comfortable with high grade linens supplied. There was ample space for our Six adults traveling. I especially liked the front porch veranda and dining area for breakfast and the sun porch on the back was great. It has an outdoor grilling area and dining room and the wet bar area was an added surprise. The information suppled by the owners was very helpful and we did dine at some of the locations recommended. I wish we had planned our trip earlier, before Columbus Day, as the Watch Hill shopping and dining district was already closed. We will be coming back, and plan to seek this location as a stay on our trip to New England next year. I highly recommend considering this rental for anyone."

  • Awesome at your door!!!

"I had the extreme pleasure of staying at the Walker Cottage in June 2016. From my initial contact with Charlene Ingham to the return of my deposit, every aspect of the business side of the rental was absolutely top draw professional. The Cottage itself is everything you need for a spectacular stay on one of the most peaceful peninsulas in R.I. Wild life is everywhere. Comfortable and cozy with all amenities. Egrets, swan and crane visit regularly right outside your door. There is a tremendous number of fine restaurants to please any foodie. An experience well worth treating yourself to. I plan to again."
