  • Beautiful Beach House

"Our family had a wonderful vacation week at #74 Seaside! The kitchen and baths were very nice. All three beautiful bedrooms had comfortable mattresses which was important to all six of my family members. The master bedroom is very large with a walk-in closet. The open floor plan made the home feel roomy! We loved the outdoor shower (it was a big hit with my two year old grandson). With this home being only a few years old, everything is new and modern throughout. The double car garage was great for storing our bicycles and beach equipment. We enjoyed the outdoor patio area and private yard. We met the renters of #76 when we arrived but we never heard or saw them because of the great layout of the house and yard. The location is perfect for walking to Scarborough Beach and a short drive to other area beaches and restaurants. There were plenty of beach towels, beach toys and a beach buggy provided. It was nice to meet the owner Sue when we were packing up. She has a beautiful rental home that she should be proud of!"

  • Great last minute getaway

"Our family found this gem to rent for 3 nights at the very last weekend in September. The price was right to begin with but we got a super discount because the owner accidently booked us on the weekend before in which he had someone else already booked. He called us to see if the following weekend would work and it did. The house is large and beautifully furnished. There were ten of us with plenty of room to socialize inside and out. The fully applianced kitchen was great along with the large dining room and open living area. Beds were comfortable and 3 showers were ideal for this number of people. There was not a lot of wood for the fire pit or fireplace so Steve did get some wood to us almost immediately. He was around to see if there was anything we needed but did not stay long. The weather wasn't the greatest, but we still got out with the kayaks, went to one of the many nearby restaurants and went out to Newport to see a couple of the mansions and did the cliff walk. Summer would have been ideal with all the kayaks and canoes available, along with the many beaches in the area. The stay was pleasant and I wouldn't hesitate to vacation there again."

  • It is a beautiful place to unwind.

"This house has some awesome views and the night we arrived the deer had come out of the nearby woods and were in the field beside the back deck. Every morning we sat out on the deck and watched the wildlife parade around on the extensive lawn. The home was spacious, comfortable and clean. The ocean view was beautiful."

  • A charming, comfortable, well-equipped cottage 5 minutes from the beach.

"My wife and I rented for a short vacation with our granddaughter who is eight and would certainly do it again. We were only three, but the cottage can sleep six easily. The kitchen is equipped with newer stove and refrigerator and an abundance of utensils glasses, dinnerware, etc, as well as a large gas grill outside. If you plan to cook, all you'll need is the food. The living/dining area decor is casual, nautical, entertaining and stocked with many board games, supplies and card decks. Cable TV and internet service were as good as home. The yard is large and grassy, ideal for outdoor play with the toys stocked in the shed. Being a five-minute walk from Roger Wheeler state beach made the ocean easily accessible and free, just load up the cart with chairs, boogie boards, snacks and go. This cottage is a classic: a family summer home that looks back to simpler times of outdoor showers (one inside, too), quiet mornings and evenings on the porch or deck. While it lacks a few amenities some people might want (dishwasher, air conditioning), we didn't miss them and felt completely at home and at ease, especially knowing that the responsive landlord was only a text or call away. We will go back when we can and would highly recommend this cottage to family and friends."
