  • Love the location

"Back for year 2! Once again we had a great time. The house felt like we never left! Very clean and plenty of dishes, glasses, beach chairs, wagons, towels etc.. Holly has thought of everything. We loved cooking out on the deck but we also eat out in a number of great places in the area. Narragansett Beach are as well as Galilee are so close with plenty of shopping and eating to be had!"

  • Perfect!

"Our family is a huge fan of the Anchor Motel and knew renting the house would be just as great! House is a perfect location to the larger beaches and great restaurants. Loved being able to view the ocean from almost every window! Enjoyed our week with family and friends and look forward to renting this property again next year!"

  • Even more than advertised!

"Our family of 4 stayed for the week and it was everything the reviews mentioned, very clean and spacious with beautiful views of the bay. We could not be happier and expect to book again for next summer. Great rental!"

  • quaint cottage close to beach

"We stayed for a week with our family, two parents and four young adults ranging in age from 15 to 20. The cottage is not big, but we were comfortable in the living room when we were just 'chilling'. The sleeping accommodations required we use the pull out couch. The kitchen is tiny and can get quite warm but the stove/cooktop/microwave/fridge all work and allowed us to preparee breakfast/dinner on site. The back porch table was the only place large enough for the 6 of use to sit down for dinner and it's shaded by a wonderful tree so worked quite well for us - thankfully we had no rain. The table in the living room worked for 2 or 3 at breakfast, but would not hold all of us. The internet worked well as did the LR TV. We made frequent use of the laundry facility, but we did have to take turns washing our dishes. The closest beach is more suited to families with smaller kids (not many waves) but we tested out other beaches and found some of the more southern ones had 'big enough' waves for the older kids. I liked being close enough to walk to the near beach for an early evening swim before bed, after most of the crowds had left the beach. The cottage is on the corner of a pretty busy road, but we did not have any trouble with road noise after dark. There is also a lot of local foot traffic back/forth to the beach, all friendly. The cottage is adequate but not elegant"
