  • Rental in summer 2016 - fantastic vacation!

"This was our best family vacation so far! As soon as we stepped on the property we felt completely relaxed. The property is beautiful and private. There are so many different spots to enjoy a different view of the lake or gardens. There is a spacious side yard where we played croquet and paddle ball. Directly across the street is a small playground and field for more extended activities, although frankly we didn't need it with the size of the rental property and it was hard to tear ourselves away. It was great that the owners have the boat shed stocked with every thing you could need to enjoy the lake and the kayaks, canoes etc..., including, floats, life preservers, snorkel gear, etc. we know now that we don't have to pack that for next year. The cabin is spacious, beautiful, immaculate and stocked with everything you need to cook as you would at home. We chose this cabin for its proximity to Narragansett beaches and Newport, so that we had options to keep our family from getting bored or to enjoy a meal out, but we ended up never leaving because we could not tear ourselves away, th owners are lovely and take pride in renting the property. They were very helpful as we planned the trip. We are looking forward to next year!"

  • Summer celebration

"With too-many-to-mention-celebrations, my family and I rented this property from Tom and Christine with plans to host friends and family over the course of the summer week. It was delightful in every way. We shared both cottages and had ample room and ammentities. The location is perfect, the views are magical, and the attention to our comfort was unsurpassed. Tom droped in from time to time to share a story or two and mentioned that often people hesitate to rent the property believing the nearby road, parking lot and marina would be too noisy. Be assured, this is a quiet, peaceful property but it is hardly isolated. There is plenty to do in the area; the beach is a short walk, the ice cream shop (and crab pond) are on the property, the Matunuck Oyster Bar is across the street and Capt'n Jacks is a few steps away. It was an Uber ride to Newport and a quick drive to Point Judith for the ferry to Block Island. If you're looking for a place that venturing out is not part of your plan, this is also it! The cottages have kitchens, barbeque grills and kyacks. A short drive to TF GReen Airport and an even shorter drive to the Kingston Amtrack Station made it convenient to all our out of state guests, who all raved at my "great find." A good time ws had by all."

  • Loved it here!

"We had the best time at this little cottage. We are people who love to surf and this house is right down the street from Deep Hole, one of our favorite spots. The cottage itself was super clean, and had every amenity we could ask for. The bathroom is just gorgeous! Can't wait to come again!"

  • Gorgeous home and area

"We had a lovely family vacation at this beautiful Green Hill Beach home. The home is bright, airy and lovingly decorated. The area is gorgeous with a small beach down the road and beach parking passes for the larger South Kingstown beach...both lovely. The porch was a delight for reading, having drinks at the end of the day and just talking. we were six adults and there was room and privacy for everyone. The owners were on hand to great us and were wonderful. Highest rating!"
