  • Great house for an extended family vacation

"We had an extended family of 15 and this house served our needs perfectly! It was clean and well kept, spacious and cheerful with many separate areas for everyone to have their own space. We had 4 small children and there was ample room for them to spread out either upstairs on the deck, the two living rooms, or downstairs in the screened in porch. The swing set was also a hit, conveniently located off of the back patio. Everyone had their own bedrooms and there was never a problem with fighting over bathrooms. The front porch was a nice bonus and the house is on a quiet street, nice for walks down to the pond. The linens and towels were clean and of good quality, and made the stay much more homey. The owner, Robin, certainly thought of everything and was super accommodating and easy to communicate with. Any issues we had were minor and were addressed quickly. We had an absolutely wonderful time and enjoyed the proximity to beaches and the convenience of stores and restaurants close by. I would highly recommend this rental to others wishing for a nice house for a big family to stay in."

  • Great week in Paradise

"We had a wonderful time at the beach. Susan was a pleasure to work with and although the cottage is small and not fancy it had everything we needed - the dog was happy also. We hope to do it again soon."

  • Lovely house in quiet neighborhood with salt lake view from deck

"We stayed at this Great Island property over Labor Day weekend. It's a lovely, spacious, comfortable house in a very nice neighborhood of large, attractive homes. The kitchen, living room and diningroom are on the upper floor and allow for a view of the salt pond from the upper deck, where we tended to linger over breakfast. There is a row of houses between this one and the water, but they are situated to allow for the view. It's a very nice area, quiet. There were only three of us, so the house was plenty large. It can easily accommodate a good size family, since the third bedroom has plenty of sleeping room for kids. The kitchen was well equipped and spotless and the livingroom furniture comfortable. We were in contact with the owners several times via email before and during our stay. They were very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had. We did not go to any beaches in the immediate area, but as best I could tell you'd need a car to get to them. This isn't a house for those who want a vacation right on the beach. But it's a great place if you want easy access by car to what the RI shoreline has to offer. It's a quick drive, for example, to the Block Island Ferry."

  • Great location and good condition.

"The location was perfect for what we wanted to do that week. The house was in good condition and had plenty of room for our 6 adult sized family. We were able to walk to most every place that we wanted to go that week such as restaurants, beach and just for walks, runs, bike rides and the Blessing of the Fleet!"
