  • Clean, and welcoming like coming home

"This home was perfect for our Bachlorette party weekend. It had everything! Pots, pans, and all the essentials neatly labeled with notes throughout the home. It was immaculate, and the decor was beachy chic. The location of the home was fantastic, just close enough to downtown, but quiet enough to have a good nights sleep. A huge bonus to this home was the stocked bar and fridge. All the condiments needed to throw a cookout, and the drinks to go along with it. We look forward to our next trip to Newport."

  • Wonderful family vacation experience.

"Beautiful, clean and well maintained home in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Owners are very kind, informative and helpful. Many great restaurants, shops and beaches just a short walk away. We hope to make many more happy family vacations here every year."

  • Perfect Newport location

"James and Keverne were perfect hosts. Their apartment was cute and cosy and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants. We were close to main roads for driving to explore other towns. Would definitely recommend Callender House."

  • Weekend Getaway with Friends

"My group of friends had an absolutely amazing weekend getaway at Bittersweet Farm. The house was immaculate, the pictures do not even do the house justice. The house was very spacious, clean, and elegant. Due to inclement weather we stayed at the house for the majority of our stay and no one was upset about it. We were able to sit out on the large covered patio, play cards at the breakfast nook, and watch football in the warm and cozy living room. The grocery store, restaurants, and liquor store were a very short drive into Wakefield which made the house in a very convenient location. It is a secluded house that feels like it is way off the beaten path but less than 2 miles from all of the necessities. Even though Deborah was not present when we arrived she was very responsive leading up to our stay and very accommodating. She provides a very detailed note outlining all the accommodations and need-to-know information which was very helpful. Next trip to Rhode Island with a larger group this house will be on the top of our list."
