  • Great Home...Great Vacation!

"We have rented homes in the Point Judith area before, but this home was the nicest. We had family members ages 2 to 70 and the home accommodated everyone's needs. For the kids, the backyard swings and the play room were wonderful. They spent many happy hours in both. The home was very clean and well equipped. It is located in a very quiet sub division; we were close to everywhere we wanted to travel. This home has three levels. The downstairs walkout was perfect for the kids and the third floor provided both privacy and quiet sleeping for the adults. Eating is divided into two spaces, the kitchen and the dining room. We opted to use the kitchen table and the table on the deck for our meals. That put everyone in close proximity of each other. Eric was very helpful and willing to meet our needs. We were happy not to have to bring linens and towels as these were provided. We could, however, have used some beach towels. This is a beautiful home with lots of space in a great location. We would rent it again."

  • Charm and a great location

"Classic Newport home with very nice up to date and open kitchen, plus large bathrooms. A huge plus in Newport is parking, and this home has its own spot. An easy walk to all main areas of town with several very good restaurants very close by."

  • Unwind, Relax, and Refresh

"We had a great week! The weather was beautiful. This home was spacious and fit our family well. We had both sets of grandparents visit us and there were no concerns with space even with parking! We cooked at the home every night and felt at home. The neighbors are very close, but we really didn't see them at all the whole week. Very quiet area. Kayaks were available for us to use and we loved the scenery while paddling! We spent time in Newport at Easton Beach which was about a 20 minute ride, but well worth it. The beach outside the home is rocky, crabby, and difficult for kids to play in the sand, however there is an awesome sand pit (a very large homemade sandbox) where our daughter camped out on many occasions. Our 4 year olds favorite part was Easton Beach! The Roger Williams zoo was also a hit and not too far away!"

  • Outstanding

"We had a great time at Valentine Farm. My wife and I stayed at Beth's property for six weeks. The place had everything we were looking for: close to Newport and the Beaches; wonderful views from the deck; a private entrance and peace and quiet. We were well-met by Beth on arrival and the property had everything you would need for a six week stay: WI-FI, optional professional cleaners; small but efficient washer/dryer, air conditioning for the summer heat and private parking. Our favorite feature of the property was the private rooftop deck with stunning bucolic views and sunrises. A great place to relax. One recommendation for long term future renters: bring your laptop with HBO and Cable applications along with a HDMI cable. Beth's TV set up is basic but her TV will accommodate HDMI input. We had a great time and plan to return."
