  • Wonderful waterfront house with lovely view!

"We are so grateful to Joel for sharing his lovely home. The sunset views from the great deck are fabulous and the setting is perfect. We return every year to enjoy the peace and serenity as well as the natural beauty. The gardens are lovely and the house is well maintained and equipped. We look forward to personal renewal in this lovely retreat each year."

  • Pleasant stay

"We stayed at the cottage with our two young children. It's a few minutes drive from lovely beaches or downtown Westerly, with abundant restaurants and shops. We checked out the tap room at the Grey Sail brewery, and fed the goats and ducks at Manfredi farms (a 15-minute drive), in addition to playing in the sand and waves. I wish we'd stayed longer, and we'd definitely stay again. Nice to know there was someone nearby in case anything came up, but we had a blissfully uneventful stay."

  • Great Vacation!

"My husband and I had a great vacation at this cottage in Portsmouth, RI on Blue Bell Cove. The view from the from window says it all! Nice cottage comfortable! Clean. Neat. Great stocked kitchen! Great TV(some places we have stayed the TV or DVD doesn't work, only has 3 channels, etc) This one was super! Air Conditioners worked well also. In the back yard large deck. We brought our kayaks and kayaked in Blue Bell Cove! Super Fun! Much larger cove then I thought. Close to restaurants, shops, etc. Went to Sakonnet Winery in Little Compton and met old friends for wine and lunch--very enjoyable spot! Things to do in Newport--shop, eat, Rum Runner II Cruise, Rose Island & Light House, and Scenic Train Ride--with lunch, ice cream dinner and Murder Mystery Trips. Also the Mansions, beaches, parks, etc. The only one drawback to the cottage--the 3 bedrooms are upstairs and the one bathroom is downstairs. Not so great when you have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Other then that we did okay with the bathroom on the first floor. We loved our vacation, we had good weather, and a fun time"

  • Perfect spot to make vacation memories!

"This house offers everything as described! We just got back from staying at this amazing home on Bonnet Shores which provided a beautiful place for family bonding and memory making. There are 14 people in our group ranging from 4-64 and there was plenty of room for everyone. We took advantage of the yard for games, the kitchen for luau and mardi-gras parties, and the large table for family dinners and card games. Morning coffee on the deck with the sounds of the ocean was a favorite of the early risers. The owners are friendly and helpful and the house is in pristine condition with plenty of parking. During our stay we visited Newport, Point Judith as well as 3 easy to get to beaches, Narragansett Town Beach was our favorite. Hope to vacation here again next summer!"
