  • Charming property in a great location

    "We thoroughly enjoyed our short visit between Christmas and New Year's Eve. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and walking distance to all the major Historic Downtown landmarks. The owners were also very friendly. The only word of caution I have is that the stairs may be difficult to safely climb for elderly guests or young children."

  • Nicely renovated with comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Easily accessible location and parking.

    "Overall, we were pretty pleased with our stay. The house was nicely decorated with beautiful, natural light during the day. The space accommodated our party well except for the lack of comfortable seating in the living area space off of the kitchen. We loved that we could easily walk to the restaurants and bars off of King street and the other popular areas were a quick Uber ride away. We were disappointed with lack of cleanliness of the home upon arrival. The floors were very dirty and the downstairs bathroom smelled of urine. The house is very close to another house on the back side and the neighbors were extremely loud, partying through the night and into the early hours of the morning. Our biggest disappointment however, was how rudely we were treated by Stevenson, the owner of the home. He ignored our texts and when we were finally able to reach him on the phone to ask two quick check-in questions, he acted like we were bothering him, wouldn't answer the questions and just kept telling us to refer to the email that he sent. Email communications were not clear and we were given three different addresses until finally being provided with the correct one. He never checked in again to make sure everything was ok. For the amount of money we paid, we expected a cleaner home and better hospitality."

  • Good with some hiccups

    "House was clean and well kept. Decorated beautifully. Everything was comfortable, the sheets were very soft. However when we arrived the key pad wasn't set and we didn't have our parking passes we paid for. After an hour everything was resolved but it was a bit of an inconvenience. The manager was very nice when taking care of everything though."
