  • Beautifully appointed and great location!!

"We stayed here for a long weekend and couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The location can't be beat. You're right in the heart of old classic Charleston neighborhoods and convenient to many restaurants, sights and entertainment. As you can tell from the pictures, the property is beautifully appointed and very comfortable! Also, the owner was super responsive and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay here again!"

  • Lovely stay in a peaceful neighborhood

"If you're looking to be in the heart of Charleston's historic district, this isn't for you. However, if you're looking to enjoy all the Charleston area has to offer while staying close by in a quiet location, this is the spot! This is a charming townhome in a residential area of Mount Pleasant. We stayed over the Christmas break and found it to be ideal for our family's needs. The home is very well kept and inside is immaculate. There are several grocery stores close by and Mount Pleasant has many good restaurants in addition to those in Charleston. The kitchen is fully loaded with utensils, seasonings, dishes, pots, coffee maker etc. Washing machine and dryer are located in the utility room outside. There are a grill and table and chairs on the patio. There's also Wifi and satellite television, though no ESPN so beware sports fans. The owner, Derek, was quick to respond and helpful with all inquiries. A short trip over the Cooper River Bridge and you're in the heart of the Charleston historic district. Another few minutes in the other direction and you're on Sullivan's Island. Shem Creek is minutes away and teeming with great seafood restaurants. For the price and location, you cannot go wrong. I definitely recommend this townhouse! A couple of tips: Publix and Bi-Lo are not far away but my grocery bill was definitely lower at Bi-Lo. Black Fedora Comedy Mystery Theater in Charleston was a fantastic fun find as was the Ghost and Graveyard Tour at Bulldog Tours"

  • Excellent vacation spot

"Excellent vacation spot. The most peaceful and restful vacation I've had in years. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. Short walk down a beautiful path to the beach. We loved exploring the island. Good fishing. We loved being surrounded by all the natural beauty of the island. We look forward to visiting again soon."

  • Great house, great city.

"Great communication pre-arrival. Fast response to a minor issue with the cable/internet. Overall a very nice house with everything we needed for a 4 day stay. Would have liked to have used the fireplaces on the cold nights, especially downstairs. We really enjoyed being so close to so much in Charleston. Would definitely rent this house again and we might!"
