"First off, this was our first trip to Folly and WILL NOT be our last. Charles has a great house on the main drag, and was a great guy to deal with the entire time. Booking was easy and the rental price was more than fair. My wife and our seven kids wanted a quiet Thanksgiving without cooking or cleaning up, and with quality time spent together. Folly Beach is the perfect spot. Twenty minutes from downtown Charleston, and 100 steps to the beach for sunrise and sunsets. The house had plenty of room, a great family room with a flat screen to watch the football games, and a front deck that we spent many a morning and evening on playing card games or just looking at the stars. This house was a six block walk from the main intersection of Folly, so it was quiet in the morning and late evenings which made it nice, but it was close enough to walk to breakfast at Lost Dog or the now famous (in our minds) Tokyo Crepes. The vibe in Folly is the coolest, and we just loved the people. The food and drinks were excellent as well, so if you come to the city of Folly Beach for a week, you will NEVER have to leave. As far as the rental goes, the location was literally 100 steps from the beach, and perfect for ALL of our kids. We gave the teens the upstairs bedroom and bathroom, so we did not have to climb the spiral staircase, and we used the main floor. The kitchen had plenty of amenities, and the new bathroom on the main floor was perfectly decorated. If there was any issues Charles was one call away. This was NOT a fancy mansion on the beach, but the house fits the exact what we needed, and is the perfect place to stay in Folly Beach. If there was any complaint at all in FB, it was that the cars drive WAY too fast on Ashley Ave, but that is beyond the control of the homeowner. Great Time!"
