  • Nice place, great location

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place to stay in a good location, several restaurants within short walking distance. On-site Wifi is not so good which can be an issue with the kids now days. We had an issue with the air conditioning unit going out but it was resolved the next day so only spent one night without air (hey, things happen). This was our second year staying at Sea Cabins and would recommend it."

  • Family get-together and significant birthday for matriarch

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Generally very good. The layout of the house was perfect for our family size with adequate beds, baths and privacy along with a lot of open space so people were not bumping into each other. The pool was used extensively and was a great asset. Next time, I would not bother to rent beach chairs. They were really used. Accommodations were excellent. There was an issue that caused hardship for the family. My son owns a house on Sullivan's Island. We chose to be at IOP so it would be easy for him and his family to be with us daily. His son, my grandson, a lad of 15 uses a motorized wheelchair. We requested the elevator's size prior to renting to be certain it would accommodate the chair. We were told it would. Actually, it didn't, so each time they visited, they had to transfer my grandson from the motorized chair to a smaller chair before putting him in the elevator. Eventually, some of the men simply carried him up the backstairs. The last day we were there the elevator did not function."

  • Perfect family vacation

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first trip to Isle of Palms and we had a wonderful stay. The house is not fancy but very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect--a quiet part of the beach and close to Harris Teeter and other amenities. There are tons of good restaurants in the area and we visited Charleston most afternoons for a change of pace. The house is located right off the main street but it was surprisingly quiet and private. We have no complaints at all except the non-stick cookware needs to be replaces as it is flaking off into food. Thank you for the perfect vacation!"

  • Dream house in perfect location on the best beach ever!

"It's rare that you fall in love with a home and a place as much as we did! This house made our vacation the best we have ever had. It is spacious, full of light, tastefully decorated, nicely laid-out, well-cared for and beautifully clean. You can tell the owners love their beach home. The large side porch has a magnificent view of the ocean, and is surrounded by swaying palmetto trees and cooled by soft breezes. The large kitchen has everything you need and is open to allow for socializing while cooking. Bedrooms have comfortable beds and nice linens, and there are bathrooms galore! The kids love the outdoor shower when coming in from the beach. There is everything you need to enjoy the beach--from umbrellas to boogie boards to folding chairs. And there is even a cart to roll your day's stuff down to the beach a few years away (this is the third house from the beach). The Isle of Palms is a little paradise, not far from elegant Charleston, with long wide beaches that are usually quite empty on this end of the island. The water is not cold in the summer and the surf is usually gentle--great for adults and children. Shopping is easy and there is plenty for everyone to do when they have had enough beach time. Frankly, just relaxing in this gorgeous house or on the porch in a big rocking chair is a vacation enough for me! Thank you for sharing this slice of heaven with us!"
