  • Short stroll to beach, spacious villa with lots of natural light

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect three bedroom for five friends who escaped the winter blues with a January beach week. Immaculate, comfy beds, room to spread out with lots of seating areas, kitchen is small but well stocked. Sun porch area didn't have any blinds or drapes so it was warm on a sunny afternoon and we used ceiling fan. Excellent location and easy walk to beach on walkway adjacent to house. Island Realty provided a very smooth check in procedure."

  • Working "vacation" at Isle of Palms

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a "site unseen" venture, and we were pleasantly surprised with the location, the overall accommodations, and the peacefulness and quiet we experienced. We would definitely consider another 30-day stay at Isle of Palms if that opportunity presents itself in the future."

  • Family Reunion

"This was the perfect venue for 13 of our family to gather from all parts of the country for our first family reunion. Everything about this house was perfect. It was a well-located homebase for our outings to Charleston, Firefly Distillery, and dinner at the Obstinate Daughter. One day was dedicated to the beach olympics and we've left a volleyball set for the next guest's enjoyment! The open kitchen/living room hosted our paella night and was perfectly equipped to feed such a big crew. I recommend this home highly for your next get together. I loved speaking with the owner prior to arrival and she was able to make many suggestions which helped us plan our trip. Thanks!!!"

  • Charming Southern Beach Vacation Location!!!

"Gorgeous location! This villa at Port O Call in Wild Dunes was the perfect choice. My husband and I spent a week here for our 34th anniversary vacation getaway from Sept. 23rd - 29th, 2016 and this place was absolutely the right choice. The easy drive down the scenic Palmetto Drive to get to the Wild Dunes gated property has breath taking views of fabulous beach homes right on the ocean and the short drive in Wild Dunes is very easy and breathtaking. Port O Call location is just as beautiful. The pictures of this condo are exactly as it appears. You just step out of the screened porch and walk right to the pool and then only a few steps more and you are on a large beach that was amazing and one of the cleanest beaches I have ever walked on. The sunsets were awesome and this turned out be the best time of year to come since the weather was about 84 degrees and sunny the whole week we stayed. The condo was the perfect size for us and very clean and very tastefully decorated. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to drive to all of the places we wanted to visit - Charleston, Sullivan's Island, Shem Creek, etc.-- all just minutes away and very little traffic. Also, just across the Isle of Palms Connector to great shopping malls and lots of restaurant choices. Our favorite restaurants were Poogans Porch in Charleston, and in Isle of Palms we liked the Sea Biscuit for breakfast and Crave, The Refuge, and The Long Beach Café, just to name a few. There are so many choices of restaurants and they were all good. Morgan Creek Grill was a great place to watch the boats in the harbor bay and listen to music in the evening. We were right across the street from the Wild Dunes Harbor Golf Course which is very scenic and we spent a whole day playing it. We really enjoyed the carriage ride in Charleston and the Harbor Boat trip we took and saw Fort Sumter and lots of dolphin swimming along beside the boat. This was hands down the perfect vacation location and we would love to return to this same spot someday. The owner, Thad was a delight to work with and made lots of great suggestions that made our trip and choices easier. He was so helpful and genuinely concerned about our stay being enjoyable. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and family and we have not stopped talking about it to everyone since we returned home. Thanks Thad for letting us stay in your home.
