  • Zero Complaints - Fantastic Location, Painless Process

"This house is in a wonderful spot - the first-floor patio has a gate directly to the boardwalk, and you are just yards away from both pools, the bar and the beach. Both the homeowner and property manager are accessible, friendly, and helpful. This was seriously the most positive overall rental experience I have had. The house is well-maintained, and I always appreciate when basic toiletries and kitchen items are included (they are). The property manager Paul is always just a phone call away, but you probably won't need to call, as he carefully checks everything - including the wifi connection - upon your arrival. I also appreciated how easy the checkout procedures were. You will hear some noise from the boardwalk - especially if women walk in heels or if people talk especially loud, but none of the people in our group minded it. And the bedrooms are mostly on the other side of the house. One thing to note if you're going in season - both days we were there (Friday and Saturday) one of the two pools closed in the afternoon for a wedding. It wasn't a big deal, as the other pool remained open, but it did get more crowded with more limited seating, so I'd recommend you stake out your spot early. We loved the fact that they provide pool towels and there are many lounge chairs, umbrellas, and tables around the pools. The beach view from the pool patio is fantastic, and beach access is right there. The perfect combination. I highly recommend this rental!"

  • Peaceful Fall Break

"Nice condo with great ocean views. Sitting on the balcony in the morning with a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise was one of our favorite things to do. The condo is located in the Wild Dunes resort. This is a nice gated community with great amenities. Local golf, tennis courts, basketball courts, bike rentals made the resort a vacation paradise. We were very happy with our stay. The condo was nicely furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, cooking utensils. AND there is a Coffee Maker, but I travel with my French press."

  • Relaxation--What a relief!

"We love the way that the Port of Call condo's are arranged-the floor plan specifically. Ken worked on a model airplane sitting in the screened porch; while I worked on a jig-saw puzzle on the kitchen table. I watched the Xfinity and NASCAR races in the sitting room while Ken watched NFL FOOTBALL on the TV in the bedroom. We both laid in the kingsize bed reading together because there was good lighting and plenty of pillows. I slept a good deal which I was is need of because the sound of the ocean is so soothing. I love the dining table area. I feel as if I am sitting in a gazebo. It is so light and airy. In fact, the whole condo is so full of light. The decor was casual; the combination of coral, turqoise, and white made the sitting area inviting and relaxing; yet utilitarian with the use of plenty of baskets and places to store goodies. I didn't need to bring books or puzzles. There were plenty of each already there. I prefer a small size kitchen work area; so the arrangement was very convenient. If you are a people person or just like to observe the little dogs, it is comforting. The birds were definitely entertaining. Since we have 2 cats of our own, we enjoyed watching the neighbor-hood cats sunbathing in the mulch. I have difficulting walking in the sand but walking for Ken was like a balm. We even watched a lady move into one the condo's. She had plenty of young people to help her. They had to make a number of trips in the poring rain. Glad I wasn't in on that project. Two pieces of art work really caught my eye, the india ink drawing of the squid, and the court yard being view threw the eye of in idia in drawing of a round window. Paper supplies and towels , linens, blankets were ample. Children would feel welcome here. Just walking the the front door is welcoming. Two suggestion: The bathtub sits low to the floor, it would help to have some type of bar to assist in getting in and out of the tub. And Ken was baffled with how the icemaker worked. We had a nice and quiet time which we needed But a small dog would have been wonderful. There are no rugs just a tile floor. Oh, one thing the clothes closet desperately needs some WD-40. When you open and close the closet door its sound like there is a schreech owl in the condo. I hope this review will assist you in some way when writing your advertising."

  • Unbelievable.

"All I can say is.... I wish I owned this condo. I have never stayed in a "contemporary" home before and I fell in love. Even with the contemporary decor, it felt so warm and welcoming. I feel so lucky we found this vacation spot. The views of the ocean were breath taking and the porch definitely got its fair share of use! This was also our first time in Wild Dunes and I'm hooked and can't wait to go back. We were there for a long weekend but now want to come for a week in the summer. Thanks to the owners for sharing and Beth for all your help! We REALLY enjoyed ourselves!"
