  • Great house with minor issues

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed in Wild Dunes multiple times now and Pelican Bay has become our favorite area. It has a community pool and is right across the street from the beach access. This house was nicely decorated and very clean inside. Our only complaint is the driveway. It's very steep and hard to get into the carport without scraping the bottom of the car. We had two minivans and one sedan and all of them scraped. We tried again after unloading the vehicles thinking it was weighed down but that didn't work. We ended up just parking in the driveway to avoid scraping which was inconvenient. The porches were a great addition but in need of a good cleaning. The inside was very nice but we did have a few run ins with roaches. I expect this when being at the beach, but was surprised at how many we saw. We believe they were coming from the attic because the attic door is slightly bent causing a gap. I think that can easily be resolved with a good pest spray. Overall, we were very satisfied and would probably stay here again. The staff at Island Realty were great too. We received a discount to the aquarium and they printed the tickets for us. We highly recommend trying out Acme Lowcountry Kitchen, Sea Biscuit Cafe, and Page's Okra Grill. If you head into downtown Charleston, checkout Fleet Landing too and ask for a seat by a window or outside if the weather is nice."

  • Beautiful condo

"We only could stay here two nights, but we loved this condo! The furnishings and kitchen and bathroom finishes are gorgeous! We loved the huge master shower, which was recently redone. The views of the beach are lovely. We had a minor maintenance issue with the fridge, but the management office sent someone out right away and it was easily fixed. Isle of Palms is a wonderful place to enjoy the beach, and it's so close to all the sights of Charleston. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • This lovely home was a perfect fit for our large group!

"We had a full house on our recent stay and the accommodations couldn't have been more perfect! The home is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac with a lovely lagoon behind it. Our family enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon cocktails sitting on the upper deck overlooking the lagoon. The home is conveniently located to both the neighborhood pool and the private beach. And although the beach is just a few minutes' walk, each day we hauled a large tent, a corn hole set, bocci balls and nine beach chairs...thank goodness there was a beach parking area with ample space for our convenience! Not only was the lovely home a perfect fit for our crew, but the homeowner, Kritin Eddy, was an absolute delight to work with! Kristin returned my numerous emails within hours of receiving. We had one minor incident during our stay which does not warrant mentioning, however, I want to share it to reiterate how efficient Kristen is to work with...When one of the brand new air conditioning units malfunctioned one morning, I emailed Kristin to let her know. Immediately upon receiving my email, Kristin emailed her private cell number and asked if I would call her. During our call Kristin apologized for the inconvenience and ensured me that her trusted repairman was on the way! My family and I then headed to the beach not skipping a beat in our plans for the day! I am happy to report the unit was fixed upon our return! I would highly recommend this lovely beach home to anyone considering a beach vacation at Wild Dunes. Renee' Newell Marietta, GA."
