  • View alone is worth every penny

"Perfect beachfront condo for 2. Nicely decorated. End unit with lots of windows and screen porch facing the ocean. Grounds are well lit at night. The unit is on 2nd floor which makes for a great view, accessible by stairs or elevator. Quick walk to golf course or longer walk on the beach to Boardwalk Inn area. We walked each morning for coffee & paper. Can highly recommend this one for your beach getaway."

  • Great vacation spot

"This condo was perfect for our anniversary getaway. The owner's descriptions and pictures were accurate. You really can hear the ocean from the bedroom! The owner was very responsive and provided a lot of helpful information. The store and restaurant recommendations were especially helpful. We liked the privacy the gated community of Wild Dunes provided. Isle of Palms is absolutely beautiful. We saw the moon rise over the ocean at night and the sunrise over the ocean in the morning. There are many places to see only a short drive away including historic downtown Charleston, Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie, and the USS Yorktown. Would love to do a plantation tour next time. I would definitely recommend Isle of Palms and this condo!"

  • Relaxation--What a relief!

"We love the way that the Port of Call condo's are arranged-the floor plan specifically. Ken worked on a model airplane sitting in the screened porch; while I worked on a jig-saw puzzle on the kitchen table. I watched the Xfinity and NASCAR races in the sitting room while Ken watched NFL FOOTBALL on the TV in the bedroom. We both laid in the kingsize bed reading together because there was good lighting and plenty of pillows. I slept a good deal which I was is need of because the sound of the ocean is so soothing. I love the dining table area. I feel as if I am sitting in a gazebo. It is so light and airy. In fact, the whole condo is so full of light. The decor was casual; the combination of coral, turqoise, and white made the sitting area inviting and relaxing; yet utilitarian with the use of plenty of baskets and places to store goodies. I didn't need to bring books or puzzles. There were plenty of each already there. I prefer a small size kitchen work area; so the arrangement was very convenient. If you are a people person or just like to observe the little dogs, it is comforting. The birds were definitely entertaining. Since we have 2 cats of our own, we enjoyed watching the neighbor-hood cats sunbathing in the mulch. I have difficulting walking in the sand but walking for Ken was like a balm. We even watched a lady move into one the condo's. She had plenty of young people to help her. They had to make a number of trips in the poring rain. Glad I wasn't in on that project. Two pieces of art work really caught my eye, the india ink drawing of the squid, and the court yard being view threw the eye of in idia in drawing of a round window. Paper supplies and towels , linens, blankets were ample. Children would feel welcome here. Just walking the the front door is welcoming. Two suggestion: The bathtub sits low to the floor, it would help to have some type of bar to assist in getting in and out of the tub. And Ken was baffled with how the icemaker worked. We had a nice and quiet time which we needed But a small dog would have been wonderful. There are no rugs just a tile floor. Oh, one thing the clothes closet desperately needs some WD-40. When you open and close the closet door its sound like there is a schreech owl in the condo. I hope this review will assist you in some way when writing your advertising."
