  • BEST Family trip ever! Wonderful condo:)

"We visited Isle of Palms in May and stayed in this lovely condo for a family beach week. So many wonderful things to share, but not enough space to write. Ha! Isle of Palms is a fabulous beach, super family friendly, and this was just the best condo! Perfect location, excellent views of the pool and beach, convenient to the best restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and downtown Charleston. The owners of this condo are the sweetest people I've "never" met;) They answered all of our questions promptly, gave us suggestions on places to go and eat and we're just all around helpful and courteous. The building is easy to locate on the island, parking was never an issue with us, just hop on the elevator and head on up. It's very clean, updated, and stocked with everything you need for vacation. Enjoy coffee on the deck in the mornings and anticipate the day spent on the beach and relax with a glass of wine at night and listen to the ocean. The only complaint I have is that we can't live there. But, we will most certainly be back."

  • Great property, Great owner!

"Patty was such a wonderful communicator! She was very responsive and one of the best owners we have worked with to date! We live on Isle of Palms and choose this property specifically for its location. Our house could not accommodate all our friends so we elected to rent Patty's house so we could all stay together. As locals, we know Wild Dunes well. We wanted a property close to the Pavillon pool but far enough away where we would still have privacy. We also knew that it would be a little quieter than homes directly connected to the boardwalk/pool area. Since our friends were bringing their children, we wanted to make sure they would be able to sleep even while the pool and pool bar was open. This is a great location for friends traveling together since the pool and snack bar offers great beach snacks so you do not have to cook every meal and the snack bar also offers a kid friendly menu. However Patty's home also offers a full kitchen if you prefer to cook! Everything you could want and just a few steps from the beach!"

  • Perfect Beach Condo

"A group of us stayed here for a wedding here in Wild Dunes. We very pleasantly surprised the photos were not misleading at all. I have rented several times and have never been really impressed until I found this gem. The location is AWESOME. We were right on the beach which made the porch the place to be. Our morning walks were perfect. The decor of the condo is perfect and has everything you may need. We could really tell that the owner truly wants you to enjoy your stay, as we did. I'm hoping I can bring my kids back with us this upcoming summer as they would love it just as much!"

  • Seasoned IOP vacationer

"Returning from another wonderful IOP vacation. We have stayed at many Wild Dunes condos/homes over the last 20 years. Mariners Walk is an ocean front complex about 2/3 of the way down beach toward the point. Good amount of beach even with high tide. This complex has 2 access points which is very nice. One has stair and the other a ramp so you can take wagon, wheelchair stroller as long as it has not rained significantly because the water can obstruct beach access. Nice pool with a separate baby pool. Not many chairs tables or shade. Very crowded in summer. Bedroom are good size but no king beds. Like the 2 full in one of the bedrooms instead of twins. The first floor is crowded with the huge leather sofa and kitchen is tiny. I like to cook and thus was not ideal! Many of the condos in the area in this price range have been remodeled and this one could use a little. Still pretty clean but carpet could use update. Lots of steps so better for those who don't have mobility issues. Nice owners who are easy to work with. Bring your own beach chairs if you don't like sitting on camping chairs."
