  • Great location with lots of amenties!

"Jack and Carolyn are wonderful to work with! They called to make sure we all made it and everything was there that we needed. The location is a very short walk to the beach and even shorter to the pool. The screened in porch is great addition! Lots of extras are provided like nice beach chairs and waters in the fridge. There is a grocery store and many restaurants close to Wild Dunes. I would recommend this spot to anyone!"

  • Beautiful condo

"We only could stay here two nights, but we loved this condo! The furnishings and kitchen and bathroom finishes are gorgeous! We loved the huge master shower, which was recently redone. The views of the beach are lovely. We had a minor maintenance issue with the fridge, but the management office sent someone out right away and it was easily fixed. Isle of Palms is a wonderful place to enjoy the beach, and it's so close to all the sights of Charleston. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • The Marsh House - August 2016

"The renting process was very smooth with the keys arriving 1 week prior. Detail instructions very helpful and accurate. The house is located at the back of Wild Dunes so you have a very quite and peaceful place to relax and WOW the views. We spent every morning and every evening into the night on that back porch. So very relaxing. The location and the views are the highlight of this vacation property! The second floor features two bedrooms and a shared bath. The architecture of the home allows both bedrooms to open to the main floor which diminishes privacy on the second floor. The noise of the main floor (emptying the dishwasher or having the ball game on) seems to echo on the second floor so if you have teenagers that like to sleep in that might be an issue. We enjoy to cook and found the kitchen lacking of some essentials (platters, serving bowls, prep bowls, appetizer plates) but we understand that most people go on vacation not to cook! The towels are in need of upgrades. They are of a better quality but are faded. The couch had also seen it's better days. I know we rented at the end of a very busy season but all of the doors and door jams were in need of a very good clean. The bikes were functional to a minimum degree (the chain slips bad on one beach bike and the other one makes a clunking noise). There are two other bikes available (not for the beach) and one of them (white one) works beautifully but the blue one's gears are messing up. We also found it very inconvenient to take the trash to the dumpster the day you leave. I just don't understand why you can't leave it in the trash bins. Overall the property was a delight! We would rent again without taking the teenagers (that would elevate most of the problems we had with the property: Noise, cooking, bikes). Compare to most homes in this price point the house is very nice!"

  • Wonderful Home on the Beach

"This year marks the family's 6th annual return to "our" house on the beach from our houses in the mountains. We originally started coming here for the proximity to Charleston and the many activities the Holy City has to offer. But our stays have become "beach enjoyment" times rather than visits to town; and this house offers the perfect location for that! It's only a short walk to a beautiful beach that is away from the noise and commotion of the weekend visitors; and it's never crowded. This is not just a beach house... it's a beach home. It's the perfect getaway!"
