  • Great location and easy access to the beach.

"We had never been to the Isle of Palms area. It was recommended by family members and it was a perfect choice for our family. Unit had 3 bedrooms and bathrooms which worked well for our age groups- older teens and adults. Easy access by car to Charleston and access to grocery and some restaurants right on Isle of Palms. Sullivan's Island had great eateries as well. Unit was clean, kitchen had a decent amount of pans and necessities for simple meal prep. Seating in living room was ok- wouldn't be great for extended time spent indoors for more than 3 adults. Couch was comfortable but chairs really aren't and a sectional that is more comfortable would be better for lounging, reading, watching a movie or whatever. Master bedroom is great- nice porch off the room and great having the screen door open to hear the ocean all night. Beds in all rooms were in need of updating and new pillows and sheets. Pillows were awful and lumpy and sheets in the master had holes in them. So did the extra blankets. Sleeping wasn't comfortable as one wants, when trying to relax on the vacation. For the money paid each night, I'd expect comfort that exceeds what I'd find at a Hampton Inn. I will be sharing this aspect with the rental agency- it's not a difficult fix and yet has been overlooked."

  • Wonderful home away from home!

"We spent a great month in this fully furnished home. The 3 bedroom layout is perfect for separating guests. The back sun/family room offers lots of light while relaxing. The beach and resort center are an easy 10 minute walk. Local restaurants offer variety and all within 10-15 minute drive. Perfect vacation rental for our long stay in a quiet area. We'll be back!!"

  • Perfect Spot. Beautiful Home.

"Ive never rented through vrbo before as I have always gone through rental companies. A family friend recommended this home and I'm so glad I listened. The entire process felt more "personal" and Beth was very helpful. The house was amazing. We had a group of girls there for a long, relaxing weekend. The house is perfect to have a group together and also spacious enough to find a quiet spot to read or nap. Everything we needed was provided and we really enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed having access to Wild a Dunes and being so close to our own little beach access path. It is just a quick drive into a Charleston and we really enjoyed exploring Mt. Pleasant, as well. Again, perfect spot and beautiful home!!"

  • Love This House!

"This is a beautiful home in a great location. It's just off the beach and very close to the pool, tennis courts, spa, gift shop, playground, and the Grand Pavilion Hotel. The house is very cutely decorated, very clean, and very comfortable. Each bedroom has it's own bath (blow dryers provided) and T.V. There is a wrap-around porch (front/side porch) with rocking chairs, as well as a screened-in porch off the kitchen that has a table and seating. Both are perfect for sipping coffee or a cocktail and just relaxing! The kitchen is large and very well equipped with a large island and stools so everybody can congregate comfortably. This was my second stay in Wild Dunes, and this house was far superior to the house we stayed in before (and that was a nice house!). I think it's the details. The owners have obviously done everything to make people feel at-home; as long as you live in a really nice home that's minutes from the beach! Beautiful Charleston is a short, easy drive. There is also so much to do at Wild Dunes! Even though I was there in late February, the weather was perfect! This is an absolutely charming home, and I hope to be able to stay here again!"
