  • Great summer getaway!

"This condo was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 dogs. It was clean and spacious! We will be renting here again and we absolutely loved being steps from the beach. Charleston was not a bad drive either! Perfect vacation!!"

  • Best Villa you could ever hope to rent!!!

"I have been staying at this villa for a number of years and it is a wonderful condo and the owner is the best I have ever dealt with. I have stayed at other properties in Wild Dunes but this is the only one I come back to each year. The owner does a magnificent job of making sure your visit is as perfect as can be. This year we had to cancel on the day we were due to arrive and while under no obligation, as per the rental agreement, the owner(Jean) gave us credit to use on another date. I don't think anyone but Jean would have done this! The condo is great and Jean is the greatest. You will enjoy staying here and the condo has all anyone would want and more."

  • BEST Family trip ever! Wonderful condo:)

"We visited Isle of Palms in May and stayed in this lovely condo for a family beach week. So many wonderful things to share, but not enough space to write. Ha! Isle of Palms is a fabulous beach, super family friendly, and this was just the best condo! Perfect location, excellent views of the pool and beach, convenient to the best restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and downtown Charleston. The owners of this condo are the sweetest people I've "never" met;) They answered all of our questions promptly, gave us suggestions on places to go and eat and we're just all around helpful and courteous. The building is easy to locate on the island, parking was never an issue with us, just hop on the elevator and head on up. It's very clean, updated, and stocked with everything you need for vacation. Enjoy coffee on the deck in the mornings and anticipate the day spent on the beach and relax with a glass of wine at night and listen to the ocean. The only complaint I have is that we can't live there. But, we will most certainly be back."

  • Ohio couple share a relaxing week on the beach!

"This is our 2nd visit to the Shipwatch Wild Dunes complex. This is the perfect place if you want to be away from the noise of a typical beach, but close enough to enjoy some of the greatest food in the country. My wife and I came for a week and brought our road bikes. In the morning we would ride from the condo all over Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island, seeing the historic sites and beautiful houses. We would return in the late morning and hang out at the beach and read/swim for 4 to 5 hours, then in the evening make the 20 minute drive into Charleston to enjoy fabulous dining. The last night we ate at the Boat House (on the south end of the island, a place we have driven and rode by hundreds of times but never stopped) and it was also fantastic. The north end of Isle of Palms where Shipwatch is located is not very crowded, is very quiet, there is a lot of good walking along the beach, and the waves were fantastic the week we were there ! This was good for me, but my wife wasn't thrilled. This owner had a storage closet with beach chairs and a boogie board that we could use, which was very convenient. We will definitely return again next year, because there are still areas we still want to explore."
