  • A "Grand" Place for a Multi-Generational Beach Vacation

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my family's second visit to what we refer to as "the pink house." Our group of eight ranges in age from 67 to 2, 3 generations- 2 sets of grandparents, and a young family of 4. This house accommodates all of our needs. The arrangement of rooms is perfect for us and the elevator makes moving in and out much easier. We love the proximity to the beach and the beautiful porch and balconies that allow us to feel "at the beach" even when we're at the house allowing little ones to nap. My only complaint is that the house was looking a little worn this summer. I know that it must be difficult to keep a house looking top-notch when it is a rental but we were so impressed with its appearance during our first stay that I hated to see it looking a bit shabby and certainly less clean this past visit. I hope its owners will make an effort to shine it up a bit. We are looking forward to our stay next year and hope to return to a beach house that sparkles. East Island Rentals has been a good company, responding to requests for repairs quickly. However a leaky drain in a second floor bath was attended to but not successfully repaired during our visit this year. While in the area, we enjoyed dinners at Morgan Creek Grill, Poe's Tavern on Sullivan Island, and the Boathouse at Breach Inlet where the dolphin watching can be great at sunset."

  • Relaxing

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I needed a mini vacation and we knew exactly where to come...the Isle of Palms. We weren't sure if we could find a short term rental but did and it was fabulous! Very clean, very comfortable, and very relaxing. Pool was nice and easy access to the beach."

  • Great getaway

"Gorgeous views! Not exactly ocean front but screened in porch gives direct view of the Tidewater pool and off to the center/right the beautiful ocean. Located on 3rd floor and has a really cute loft area where you can see the ocean and stars at night. Small kitchen but nicely appointed and all dishes/appliances you would need. Has ice maker in freezer. Small front loading W/D. Nice King bed and bedroom opens to screened in porch. Short walkway to beach. Rented bicycles and brought our own beach chairs, although there are plenty you can rent. Nice gated community at Wild dunes but mostly geared toward families with children. Restaurants were good but very, very overpriced. Better restaurants and bars located near public beach access (Coda deal pesce was our favorite!). Quiet hours enforced after 10pm which gave us a break from screaming kids. Curtains were hard to pull together and pull back and slight musty odor in apt, perhaps due to old carpet. Very safe area and nice to have coded entry so you don't hav to worry about keys. About 20-30min drive to Charleston (longer during rush hour) and 10-15mij drive to Mt Pleasant which had lots of commercial shops/restaurants. Overall wonderful stay!"

  • Beach Wedding

"My family of 5 and our 2 dogs were very satisfied and the condo met our needs perfectly! Although Hurricane Joaquin rained out the beach wedding he did not dampen our spirits!!! The HOA so very graciously allowed us to use The Beach House porch over looking the ocean! It was a gorgeous place for the small intimate wedding and the bride and groom as well as the parents were so very thankful and blessed!!!! God is good! We all cut our vacation one day short trying to escape Joaquin's fury!!!! Thank you Beth and Russell for allowing us to use your condo!!! We hopefully will go back when the weather is better!!!! Pam"
