  • An accommodating, comfortable respite!

""Our Cute Little Beach House" was an accommodating, comfortable respite for a "Fall Girlz Getaway." Well appointed with all of the amenities needed to re-energize, relax, & renew. This home invites you in and says, "Wecome!" The attention to details in decor and color choices are impeccable, and not overbearing or beachy. It's your home away from home. The comfortable beds are made with bath linens atop. There is a great open gathering area or cozy places to separate from the group for some "Me time". My favorite place was the front porch. Sitting in one of the two rocking chairs, with a glass of Moscato and one of the current-dated magazines...but don't tell anyone, it'll be our little secret. There is also a little deck off of the twin bed bedroom that I would have made great use of, but there's no chair. Hint, hint. After spending our days exploring, touring, and shopping, this was our quiet place. We planned to prepare meals during our stay, but ventured out to a couple of the recommendations that Sonny and Sue suggested. Mmmm!! (Note-The kitchen is small, but can accommodate two "chefs.") We enjoyed our stay here and we'll be back! Sonny and Sue, thanks for the hospitality and "S & S's Southern Charm," which I affectionately changed the name of the home to. Can't wait to scrapbook my memories here. If you decide that you no longer like or need the comfortable front porch furniture, you have my address! Peace & Blessing from the ladies of "Out With the Girlz""

  • Seasoned IOP vacationer

"Returning from another wonderful IOP vacation. We have stayed at many Wild Dunes condos/homes over the last 20 years. Mariners Walk is an ocean front complex about 2/3 of the way down beach toward the point. Good amount of beach even with high tide. This complex has 2 access points which is very nice. One has stair and the other a ramp so you can take wagon, wheelchair stroller as long as it has not rained significantly because the water can obstruct beach access. Nice pool with a separate baby pool. Not many chairs tables or shade. Very crowded in summer. Bedroom are good size but no king beds. Like the 2 full in one of the bedrooms instead of twins. The first floor is crowded with the huge leather sofa and kitchen is tiny. I like to cook and thus was not ideal! Many of the condos in the area in this price range have been remodeled and this one could use a little. Still pretty clean but carpet could use update. Lots of steps so better for those who don't have mobility issues. Nice owners who are easy to work with. Bring your own beach chairs if you don't like sitting on camping chairs."

  • Wild Dunes Perfection

"Our family spends Thanksgiving week at Wild Dunes every year. This was our first time in this home. It is a beautiful, open floorplan with lots of space and great finishes. You are only a few minutes walk to the Beach and we highly recommend this home. Ed and Sylvia Robeson Marietta, Georgia Kim and David Brabham Cheraw, South Carolina"

  • Owners Need to Maintain Unit and Check on It

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our unit was clean and all linens were provided. Porch couldn't be used due to screen being torn and wasps coming in. Always love to eat breakfast on porch. Not this time. The owners desperately need to replace the couch in the living room. Odor can no longer be disguised. Nice bathroom and kitchen has everything you'd need."
