Cozy - Beautiful - Beachy
"We really enjoyed our stay. The beds are very comfortable and we loved the pillows. The bright colors used in the design are fun and also created that beachy resort like atmosphere. They also offered plenty of linens. We will definitely stay there again! Very easy to book!"

"This is our 2nd visit to the Shipwatch Wild Dunes complex. This is the perfect place if you want to be away from the noise of a typical beach, but close enough to enjoy some of the greatest food in the country. My wife and I came for a week and brought our road bikes. In the morning we would ride from the condo all over Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island, seeing the historic sites and beautiful houses. We would return in the late morning and hang out at the beach and read/swim for 4 to 5 hours, then in the evening make the 20 minute drive into Charleston to enjoy fabulous dining. The last night we ate at the Boat House (on the south end of the island, a place we have driven and rode by hundreds of times but never stopped) and it was also fantastic. The north end of Isle of Palms where Shipwatch is located is not very crowded, is very quiet, there is a lot of good walking along the beach, and the waves were fantastic the week we were there ! This was good for me, but my wife wasn't thrilled. This owner had a storage closet with beach chairs and a boogie board that we could use, which was very convenient. We will definitely return again next year, because there are still areas we still want to explore."

"We stayed here for my son's wedding. This house is beautiful...and was an amazing central gathering location for our wedding guests to touch base with us. The pictures do not do justice to the quality of the furnishings....every room is beautifully decorated. It is a very short walk to the beach...and we loved the porch with the big table which fit everyone at mealtime. Our golden Maggie loved her stay there too! If I had one suggestion it would be to replace the dishes - the dishes are far too heavy & cumbersome, and to upgrade the pots & pans. We did have a few issues when we arrived (lawn was full of tall weeds and no internet service) but both issues were resolved within a few days. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us - it was a perfect place for us!"
