  • Seasoned IOP vacationer

"Returning from another wonderful IOP vacation. We have stayed at many Wild Dunes condos/homes over the last 20 years. Mariners Walk is an ocean front complex about 2/3 of the way down beach toward the point. Good amount of beach even with high tide. This complex has 2 access points which is very nice. One has stair and the other a ramp so you can take wagon, wheelchair stroller as long as it has not rained significantly because the water can obstruct beach access. Nice pool with a separate baby pool. Not many chairs tables or shade. Very crowded in summer. Bedroom are good size but no king beds. Like the 2 full in one of the bedrooms instead of twins. The first floor is crowded with the huge leather sofa and kitchen is tiny. I like to cook and thus was not ideal! Many of the condos in the area in this price range have been remodeled and this one could use a little. Still pretty clean but carpet could use update. Lots of steps so better for those who don't have mobility issues. Nice owners who are easy to work with. Bring your own beach chairs if you don't like sitting on camping chairs."

  • nicely renovated Wild Dunes home

"We enjoy staying in Wild Dunes. It is the first time we have stayed in Pelican Bay. The homes are smaller and it is a lovely quiet neighborhood. During the warmer weather, the pool is just across the street and the ocean a short walk further. The home has everything inside recently renovated. We stayed over new years week and it was very quiet, which was great. During the day there was alot of construction going on in the house across the street , next door and behind us. It didn't bother us, but if you have small kids that might. They should be finished soon and it's nice that they keep the houses up to date. Our furnace didn't work initially, but the property manager got someone out in a couple hours and everything was toasty after that. We cooked in a lot. Since we have big eaters, we bring our own large cooking pots, etc. We even baked brownies! We will definitely keep this place in mind for our next visit."

  • Best Location in Wild Dunes!

"Our family absolutely loved the location of this property! The patio gate opens right out onto the pool deck. The beach bar and grill is right here and then just a few more steps to the beach! What could be better? Perfect for grandkids so they have the close option of pool or beach. Plenty of room. Perfect!"
