  • Beautiful, modern, comfortable and excellent location

"This property is so lovely. It is like new with modern and pretty furnishings and decor. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and so well stocked. The outside deck/patio has wonderful views of the ocean and the intracoastal waterway. Amenities of The Village complex include an awesome market with coffee, prepared foods and a deli and also wines, beers and gifts. Wonderful amenities all around in the Grand Pavilion complex and right by so many pools, golf, tennis and bike rentals. Also just a short walk from the beach and the Pavilion where you can buy food and drinks and also enjoy the two ocean side pools. Simply paradise! Would definitely rent this property again!"

  • Love This House!

"This is a beautiful home in a great location. It's just off the beach and very close to the pool, tennis courts, spa, gift shop, playground, and the Grand Pavilion Hotel. The house is very cutely decorated, very clean, and very comfortable. Each bedroom has it's own bath (blow dryers provided) and T.V. There is a wrap-around porch (front/side porch) with rocking chairs, as well as a screened-in porch off the kitchen that has a table and seating. Both are perfect for sipping coffee or a cocktail and just relaxing! The kitchen is large and very well equipped with a large island and stools so everybody can congregate comfortably. This was my second stay in Wild Dunes, and this house was far superior to the house we stayed in before (and that was a nice house!). I think it's the details. The owners have obviously done everything to make people feel at-home; as long as you live in a really nice home that's minutes from the beach! Beautiful Charleston is a short, easy drive. There is also so much to do at Wild Dunes! Even though I was there in late February, the weather was perfect! This is an absolutely charming home, and I hope to be able to stay here again!"

  • Nice house...close to everything

"We rented from VRBO and it was a great transaction, the owner responded quickly. The property manager Paul was very helpful. So here are the special touches I observed. Shampoos and soaps in the bathrooms, and extras everywhere. The living room has a large flat screen tv and several board games. The Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of plates, cups, pans, cups and silverware. (We had 5 people and after 5 days we still had plates silverware etc...and the dishwasher was not even full) plenty of utensils. They had put together a book with local restaurants and activities to do. We referenced this several times during our stay. We found a great pizza place that delivered and the kids loved it! In a frame above the phone, it has all info you need from wifi to emergency info! Awesome. What would I change? I would add a king bed to the master instead of a queen bed, but that is my preference. The house is great and I would highly recommend. Something I would do in the future, buy travel interruption insurance! We bought the insurance from the VRBO site called trip protection (bad choice on our part), it only covers if you can't make it to your vacation, so we had to leave early due to Hurricane Matthew and it did not cover it, so we lost 2 nights and 3 days. Trip interruption would have reimbursed. Just a piece of helpful advice. If you are wondering if Wild Dunes is the place for you and your family, the answer is yes Yes yes! And the grand pavilion is in the center of it all!"
