  • Excellent home, terrific location, memorable vacation

"I am very familiar with Kiawah as I have been visiting for years. Love the Turtle Point location and surrounding Turtle Beach community and access to the beach. Wendy's home was fantastic. Large, open, welcoming floor plan had five adults and four children more than happy with the space and accommodation. Great access to the beach and a private community pool. An amazing and wonderful week for our family. The home, felt like our home."

  • Wonderful family vacation

"I recently stayed at this high quality, beautiful home with my three grown children, their spouses and my three young grandchildren (ages 1,2 and 3). This home was a perfect fit. It is very child-friendly, with a gated front porch, high-chair, two portable cribs, and a child's table and play area on the back porch. The bedrooms, 2 upstairs, and 3 downstairs, offered plenty of privacy for each family group with their own bathrooms. This is a comfortable, clean and well-equipped home. The kitchen is roomy with plenty of dishes, etc. for a large family. We enjoyed the large round dining room table. Loved the nearby community pool, and spent hours every day on the beach, which was just a short walk away along a beautiful shaded path. We also enjoyed the courtyard behind the house and played bocce ball in the evenings (we took our own set). There is no better place for family bike rides than Kiawah, with miles of beautiful bike paths. This home is a short ride to Night Heron park, where there is a great playground, and a fun family event with large inflatables one evening. We chose to rent bicycles with child seats, but the house has a couple of usable bikes that are stored under the front porch. I would recommend the Oyster Roast at Mingo Point on Monday night. There is an abundance of great food and drink in a fabulous marsh setting, live music and kid's activities, and the roasted oysters served up with shovels along with plenty of crackers, sauce and lemons are a special treat. The boys in our group enjoyed a day of golf on the fabulous Ocean Course, and the girls went for lunch one day at the beautiful Sanctuary Hotel, just a short bike ride away. The Freshfields Market area is full of fun shops, restaurants and a fabulous grocery store (good fresh fish). The owners of the home, Debbie and John Diddle, were great to work with, responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time!!!"

  • Thanksgiving week with all the Family

"Our family enjoyed a fantastic Thanksgiving week in your Kiawah home. The weather was spectacular every day, and the golf was a highlight for my son Brad and myself. Meanwhile, all of us were so very comfortable in your spacious and welcoming home. Our son Brian and his family enjoyed the "suite" of two bedrooms side by side and the little granddaughters were thrilled with cookie decorating and Santa's visit. Our son Craig was amazed with the natural splendor of Kiawah, and is now ready for the next oyster roast at Mingo Point! My wife found your kitchen to be remarkable for family meals together. Needless to say, the beach was perfect for all of the outdoor activities, including, cartwheels, hand stands, (by the younger folks:), bike riding, and, of course, we had two entries in the sand sculpting competition. And, to top it off, our dear Daisy dog was welcome too!"
