  • Paradise in Kiawah!

"Our family spent a week in Kiawah and can not say enough about this fabulous home! The bedroom layout is excellent for a larger group and the open space is divided into three separate gathering spaces, an upper "family room", a main family room and a garage area that is set up with loads of fun activities for kids of all ages. The family has gone out of their way to provide wagons to load items for the beach and even has a nice selection of beach chairs, an umbrella, and towels for use during your stay. The kitchen is stocked extremely well and we found we lacked for nothing while eating meals at the house. There is even a wine fridge! The views are amazing from any part of the home and we found ourselves enjoying the screened in porch at all hours of the day! Very relaxing to play a game or read a book! Finally, there are numerous activities to keep a family busy on the island of Kiawah and plenty of excellent dining options. The house "manual" which was thoughtfully put together by the owners, thoroughly covered all of our activity options and helped us make decisions on where to eat and how to spend our days. We can't wait to return to Kiawah and book this home again!!! Many thanks!"

  • Private Sanctuary

"Perfect family reunion! Our group of 12 could not have been more happy with this accommodating home. The location in Vanderhorst Plantation allows for a serene feeling in general, and then when you layer in the privacy that this home offers, the vacation becomes even more relaxing! The outdoor space around the pool was perfect for our whole group to gather and connect. In addition, the short walk or bike ride to the beach was beautiful ~ a daily ritual! We rented bikes and used them every day. The house design (including a three bedroom guest house separate from the two bedroom main house) allowed for the teen agers or late-sleepers to be slightly separated from the two master bedrooms in the main house. That feature was wonderful to allow the early risers and coffee drinkers to enjoy the morning while the others slept! The kitchen is well stocked ~ even for professional chefs! We were on the island to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary, so we hired a caterer, Pampered Palate, to prepare a meal one evening. I can't recommend them highly enough. The food was simply amazing, Chef Merrit and his staff was incredibly attentive, responsive, and friendly. The island was a perfect get-away for multiple generations and Erin's house makes a good vacation destination a great place to make family memories. We would highly recommend this home."

  • Great for family

"Our family of 11, 3 of those under 3, had a wonderful time at the Kiawah home. Every family had its own bedroom and bath and the common living spaces accommodated all of us for gathering and meals. Furnishings were up to date. View of the pond with the visiting alligator provided some good conversations!"

  • fun on Kiawah Island

"We stayed for a week in this house. It was spacious, clean and a short bike ride to the beach. The owners make it very easy and convenient at check in and out. The four bedrooms were designed so all the teenagers had their own space. The kitchen was big and great for a large group and the extra refrigerator in the garage was great for the extra beverages needed for the beach. They even had beach chairs for use. We are looking forward to a return visit."
