  • Fall family vacation

"Perfect house for our family! We had three children under the age of five and the floor plan worked perfectly! The easy beach access was fantastic! So easy to go back and forth from the house to the beach!"

  • The house at 55 Inlet Cove was the perfect choice for our family. It was as beautiful inside.

"This home did not feel like a rental. It was exceptionally clean and modern and the kitchen had everything to make nice family meals. We got great use of the bikes, as it was just a short ride to the pool and beach. There were plenty of towels and the washer and dryer were easy and very efficient! The home itself felt very private and the views from the back sunroom were beautiful. The homeowner was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely comeback"

  • Very clean and roomy for all.

"Was the listing description accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc ? - YES Was the property clean and well-maintained ? - YES Did the owner provide good customer service ? YES Would you recommend this property to your friends or relatives ? YES What activities, attractions and restaurants did you like or dislike near by ? We had not been to Kiawah since 1997. The attractions were up to par as we had remembered them. The Straw Market restaurant had a nice breakfast menu. The Straw Market in general though is showing its age. It could use some new wood on the stairs and a general face lift. There is a large Gator (5 to 7') in the pond near the cottage. Considering there are a lot of small children on the island, perhaps consideration should be made concerning its future in that pond. Overall the experience was a great one and we would do it again. We all had a great time. Tom Jozwik PS The She-Crab soup at the Amen restaurant in Charleston is to die for. Don't forget the Sherry."

  • Awesome Location

"Six of us stayed here just last week. We had never stayed on Kiawah Island before, but after this trip would definitely come back. AND we would stay at 89 Inlet Cove again. The back of the property faces the Kiawah River and has both screened in porch and raised deck. Our older children brought work with them and would take their computers to the porch and work facing the river and watching the dolphins. The beach is a very short distance away and once there, if you turn right, there are no houses, and the beach is never crowded. Even better, at low-tide you can ride your bikes down the beach and reach the Kiawah River inlet. Because of the community dock, we were able to rent kayaks for the full day (much better deal than for 2 hours) and launch them from the community dock. Although the place itself could use a minor bit of TLC, we would 100% stay here again - over almost any other place on the island."
