  • Great for family

"Our family of 11, 3 of those under 3, had a wonderful time at the Kiawah home. Every family had its own bedroom and bath and the common living spaces accommodated all of us for gathering and meals. Furnishings were up to date. View of the pond with the visiting alligator provided some good conversations!"

  • Cozy Island Getaway for the New Years on this gracious home on a nostalgic cul de sac on Kiawah

"Our family of five along with a few friends travelled to Kiawah to this special home to celebrate the New Years. It was such a great week and largely because of Tish and this awesome home. Located in a quaint new england like enclave just beside the Sanctuary Resort and just a few steps from the beach, we were in exactly the right spot. The home is on one level but has spacious front and back porches and lots of living room. The kitchen is open and inviting, the inviting gas fire place burned all week. Wifi was excellent. There is a lot of sleeping room (more like a four bedroom home with the extra bunks and beds). I can't say enough good things about the home, and especially the owners. Tish was responsive and attentive, easy to work with and always available. We could not have asked for more. The neighborhood of Turtle Beach with its distinctive architectural style homes around this charming abode are just the absolute jewel of Kiawah/Sea Brook. We have visited the Sanctuary and villas and homes on the island for a dozen years, and always wanted to try this special spot we discovered on bikes and have loved since. Kiawah is fabulous for its resort, and also the island has many awesome spots since you can Bike everywhere once you arrive. And we always spend a day in Charleston. But staying in this quaint cul de sac of picket fences, front and back porches, so close to the beach and just a hop to the Sanctuary (dance party and fireworks on the green for the New Year) really made the experience special - our favorite visit yet. Don't miss this spot."
