"We were fortunate to stay in this lovely unit for a month. It is very well appointed, tastefully furnished and the owners were very accessible to any issue we had. The location and view are hard to beat...we love Kiawah and look forward to our October month in paradise. Thank you Mark...hoping to return again."

  • Wonderful family vacation

"I recently stayed at this high quality, beautiful home with my three grown children, their spouses and my three young grandchildren (ages 1,2 and 3). This home was a perfect fit. It is very child-friendly, with a gated front porch, high-chair, two portable cribs, and a child's table and play area on the back porch. The bedrooms, 2 upstairs, and 3 downstairs, offered plenty of privacy for each family group with their own bathrooms. This is a comfortable, clean and well-equipped home. The kitchen is roomy with plenty of dishes, etc. for a large family. We enjoyed the large round dining room table. Loved the nearby community pool, and spent hours every day on the beach, which was just a short walk away along a beautiful shaded path. We also enjoyed the courtyard behind the house and played bocce ball in the evenings (we took our own set). There is no better place for family bike rides than Kiawah, with miles of beautiful bike paths. This home is a short ride to Night Heron park, where there is a great playground, and a fun family event with large inflatables one evening. We chose to rent bicycles with child seats, but the house has a couple of usable bikes that are stored under the front porch. I would recommend the Oyster Roast at Mingo Point on Monday night. There is an abundance of great food and drink in a fabulous marsh setting, live music and kid's activities, and the roasted oysters served up with shovels along with plenty of crackers, sauce and lemons are a special treat. The boys in our group enjoyed a day of golf on the fabulous Ocean Course, and the girls went for lunch one day at the beautiful Sanctuary Hotel, just a short bike ride away. The Freshfields Market area is full of fun shops, restaurants and a fabulous grocery store (good fresh fish). The owners of the home, Debbie and John Diddle, were great to work with, responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time!!!"

  • Recent rental family

"We had a fabulous time at this cottage. The rental provided everything we needed for quality time on the beach, in the cottage and around Kiawah. The proximity to the beach, golf courses, Night Heron Park and The Sanctuary where we had dinner couldn't have been better. It was our first visit to Kiawah, but we will definitely be returning and plan to convince more family to find a rental as well. This truly is one of the most beautiful, restful beaches I have ever spent time on."

  • Clean condo, great view and location

"We really enjoyed our stay in this villa. The location was perfect. About a 2 minute bike ride or 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Definitely one of the closer units in the Turtle Cove area to the beach. Besides a rogue beetle/spider or two, the villa was in great shape and very clean. The updated TVs were great and a nice selection of cable channels. We loved the size of the screened in porch. Comfortable for even 6-8 people and a great view. The deer walked right up to the porch and we saw quite a few alligators. The king bed in the master was really comfy and the secondary bedroom was a great size - very spacious. The kitchen was outdated from a finishes standpoint but who cares? We had everything we needed! And it was great that it was not on ground level but you only had to go up about 5 steps. Overall we had a great trip and will come back to this villa."
