  • Beautiful Vacation Getaway

"My family stays in the Charleston area every year for Thanksgiving. This was our first time staying in this property and in Kiawah. Both were beautiful and just as advertised. The house was located deep inside the core of Kiawah Island, limiting a lot of traffic. That made us feel more at ease, with the kids being outside without us having to watch them every second. The house was very well maintained and nicely decorated. The layout was perfect for our family of 7 people. In fact, we felt like we could have easily accommodated a few more people (but happy that we didn't). Throughout the process from deciding on a home to rent through the rental, the property owners were a pleasure to work with. They were extremely accommodating and very responsive to any questions that we had. While in Kiawah, we took advantage of many of the community amenities, including playing golf on the Turtle Point golf course, tennis, renting kayaks down the Kiawah River (feeds into the ocean), watching the sunset over the water and renting bikes to explore the island and beach. There are over 30 miles of bike trails through the island, and the scenery was beautiful. If you haven't stayed on Kiawah before, I highly recommend it. It is absolutely gorgeous, extremely family friendly and has a ton of activities. We can't wait to come back and would love the opportunity to rent this home again!"

  • Wonderful week

"Four women all over 60 had a great time rode bikes, went to beach, went into Charleston one day done the Harbor tour and buggy ride, one day went to Boon Plantation, close enough to do several things. The Villa is lovely, plenty big enough for four or more. The Island is beautiful just a paradise. We would come back again. Villa had every- thing needed and more. Wonderful restaurants recommended by owners."

  • Very clean and roomy for all.

"Was the listing description accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc ? - YES Was the property clean and well-maintained ? - YES Did the owner provide good customer service ? YES Would you recommend this property to your friends or relatives ? YES What activities, attractions and restaurants did you like or dislike near by ? We had not been to Kiawah since 1997. The attractions were up to par as we had remembered them. The Straw Market restaurant had a nice breakfast menu. The Straw Market in general though is showing its age. It could use some new wood on the stairs and a general face lift. There is a large Gator (5 to 7') in the pond near the cottage. Considering there are a lot of small children on the island, perhaps consideration should be made concerning its future in that pond. Overall the experience was a great one and we would do it again. We all had a great time. Tom Jozwik PS The She-Crab soup at the Amen restaurant in Charleston is to die for. Don't forget the Sherry."

  • Pleasant Stay

"We enjoyed our stay at the Seascape Villa. It is clean and nicely decorated. The location is near the beach and convenient to Charleston. The back deck looks into woods which makes it very private. We saw two deer one afternoon; they seemed quite at ease so near the building."
