  • Kiawah & Charleston Retreat

"My husband and I found this property to be exceptional in every way. The furnishings were not just pretty, they were comfortable especially the beds. We loved how close the walk is to the beach & the pool is very nice. Bohicket Marina is a great place to walk, eat and watch the sunset. You can stay in Kiawah and have everything at your fingertips or drive into Charleston to dine and enjoy a historic carriage ride. We cannot wait to go back! We will stay at 21055 again & again."

  • The house at 55 Inlet Cove was the perfect choice for our family. It was as beautiful inside.

"This home did not feel like a rental. It was exceptionally clean and modern and the kitchen had everything to make nice family meals. We got great use of the bikes, as it was just a short ride to the pool and beach. There were plenty of towels and the washer and dryer were easy and very efficient! The home itself felt very private and the views from the back sunroom were beautiful. The homeowner was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely comeback"

  • Great stay. Would rent this unit again.

"Overall, a comfortable, well located unit. Nice size with ability for family of 4 or less to stretch out and have their own space. While would have appreciated if Kiawah had heated the "heated pool," having access to this and other resources were a benefit. Loved the screened in porch, its view, and the ability to sit, read, and eat watching the alligators swim in the pond it overlooked. Unit is a bit dated in a few areas (noise from older washing machine must have driven the visitors in unit below crazy), but overall did not reduce our enjoyment. Not a big issue to us, but would recommend that the day to day maintenance be upgraded in areas like burnt out light bulbs, no one had maintained lint filter in dryer for long time, etc. This being said, would rent this unit again due to size, location, and overall amenities."

  • Wonderful family vacation

"I recently stayed at this high quality, beautiful home with my three grown children, their spouses and my three young grandchildren (ages 1,2 and 3). This home was a perfect fit. It is very child-friendly, with a gated front porch, high-chair, two portable cribs, and a child's table and play area on the back porch. The bedrooms, 2 upstairs, and 3 downstairs, offered plenty of privacy for each family group with their own bathrooms. This is a comfortable, clean and well-equipped home. The kitchen is roomy with plenty of dishes, etc. for a large family. We enjoyed the large round dining room table. Loved the nearby community pool, and spent hours every day on the beach, which was just a short walk away along a beautiful shaded path. We also enjoyed the courtyard behind the house and played bocce ball in the evenings (we took our own set). There is no better place for family bike rides than Kiawah, with miles of beautiful bike paths. This home is a short ride to Night Heron park, where there is a great playground, and a fun family event with large inflatables one evening. We chose to rent bicycles with child seats, but the house has a couple of usable bikes that are stored under the front porch. I would recommend the Oyster Roast at Mingo Point on Monday night. There is an abundance of great food and drink in a fabulous marsh setting, live music and kid's activities, and the roasted oysters served up with shovels along with plenty of crackers, sauce and lemons are a special treat. The boys in our group enjoyed a day of golf on the fabulous Ocean Course, and the girls went for lunch one day at the beautiful Sanctuary Hotel, just a short bike ride away. The Freshfields Market area is full of fun shops, restaurants and a fabulous grocery store (good fresh fish). The owners of the home, Debbie and John Diddle, were great to work with, responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time!!!"
