  • Beach Immersion!

"Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this villa. It is completely private and you feel as though you are staying in a freestanding home rather than a villa. No noise from neighbors, no crowded beaches, no one walking overhead. It is pleasant and sunny and bright and the first thing you see when you open the door is the spectacular and very close ocean view. With two young children we were able to walk/bike easily to the beach club pools and restaurant. It goes without saying that getting to the beach was effortless because it is directly on the beach. We enjoyed surf fishing and catching blue crabs all week during the day and at night we sat on the deck and had spectacular views of the stars because the lack of commercial development on the island means no light pollution. Wild life is abundant. We saw deer, rabbits, a baby turtle, blue crabs, horseshoe crabs, dolphins, sting rays, countless fish, etc. Highly recommended!"

  • Wonderful beach home!!

"My family and I stayed at this home July 2016. What a fabulous beach home on the beautiful Seabrook Island! By far one of our most favorite family vacations yet. The home was perfect. From the well appointed kitchen to the location. Less than 5 mins to the beach. So easy that my 3 year old never complained about the short walk. Thanks to Judy and Jerry for all the beach supplies, which made things a lot easier. We got the amenity cards but never even used them due to the proximity to the beach. We loved visiting Charleston and hanging out in the spacious home. My favorite was listening to the ocean from the back deck at night. We will definitely be back to Seabrook and will look for this home again. My family and I highly recommend renting this home. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful, made the stress of vacation planning that much easier."

  • Very nice place; but only sleeps 4

"PROS: This Creek Watch Villa is very nice. True to its description and reviews from other travelers, it does have great views of marsh from sunroom. We watched dolphins feeding in the marsh right outside our window. Furthermore, it is in close walking distance to crabbing dock/ kayak launch area. In addition, the kitchen has been updated and is well stocked. Also, amenity cards are available to purchase through this unit. Finally, the unit did have extra beach chairs, towels, etc. to make trip easier. CONS: This unit sleeps 4, not 6. The owners/ property company need to change their description or need to purchase sleeper sofas, etc. The unit has 1 queen in the MB and 2 twins in other bedroom. Living room/ sunroom furniture has no sleeper sofas. One of our children had to sleep on sofa during vacation. While not horrible, it truly would have been nice for him to have a bed to sleep in. This is the main reason why I am giving this unit 4 stars. Other (small) issues. . .(1) the bed/bedding/pillows in master are uncomfortable, (2) the two full bathrooms are somewhat small/ dated, (3) no grill tools/cleaning brush for outside electric grill."

  • Seabrook "First Timer's"

"I think the best way to sum up our vacation at Seabrook Island is to tell you that on our last day of the vacation we all said to each other, "Do we really have to leave?" This was our first time to Seabrook and we were definitely happy with our decision to vacation there. The island is beautiful, never lacking in something to do. I think my children and I spent almost every evening just exploring the island and it's animal life. Freshfields Village has many restaurants to choose from and a grocery store which is easily accessible and has a relaxing flow. Bohicket Marina is nice as well and provided great scenery. Next time we go we plan to charter a boat ride also! Most importantly this vacation was as success because of the condo rental. From the first inquiry to the last, Doug and Polly have been excellent and professional. We appreciated the layout of the condo, the decor is beautiful, and the amenities are great. We never heard any neighbors or early morning or late night disruptions, which was also great. The community pool was just the right size, never crowded (there were 5 people other than us at the most). Half of the pool is shaded so it was cool and refreshing. Sitting on the back porch listening to the rain we had on our first day made me feel like I was "glamping." Each room has it's own bathroom and that was very nice for the children. They enjoyed having their own space. The kitchen is a great size for the condo and was nice to cook in. Opening the doors to the screened in porch in the evenings was fun too. The porches give you the best of both outside and inside living. The natural environment helps make Seabrook an amazing vacation experience. The beaches were not crowded either. I definitely suggest a beach cart as there is about a .3 mile walk from beach access to the actual beach. We rented one from Lazy Loggerhead for a minimal cost. They delivered it and picked it up with no hassle at all. There are several different beach access spots to choose from and most of them are surrounded by the natural flora and fauna of the island. It is very interesting to walk on the boardwalks getting to the beautiful beaches. Everyone we met were repeat vacationers to Seabrook. That says a lot. Thank you Doug and Polly!"
