  • Family Reunion

"We love Seabrook Island. This is the second time in four years that we have had a family reunion there. This time there were 29 members of my family attending. We rented 5 houses for this event. Our house by far was the most popular, not only because of its size, but also because it is set up perfectly for this type of event. With various seating areas we were able to hold a brunch without everyone sitting on top of each other. In the evenings the adults would sit in the screened in porch and rehash our lives, while the kids had a room with a tv, so they were content. They also worked on a puzzle that was supplied by the house. Their goal was to complete it before we left. Mission accomplished! The management company was very responsive with the couple of problems we had. Our issues were resolved within a couple of hours, so we never had to sit around and waste precious beach time. It would have been helpful, however if the management company kept an inventory as to what the house had to offer. I had called and asked specifically about items for the beach, and was told there were only two chairs. When we arrived we discovered a canopy, an umbrella and boogie boards. These were all items we had hauled from Michigan. The house was very clean, though there are areas that could b updated (all the bathrooms.) It might just be us, but we would have found it helpful if the upstairs loft was actually a bedroom. When we were there four years ago in June we were thrilled to happen upon the sea turtle tracks and seethe turtle patrol moving the eggs. We deliberately planned to go in August the view the turtles hatch. We were so excited when this happened. It is an amazing sight to see them make their way to the ocean. The other thing I really wanted to see was the dolphins strand feeding. It is a long walk along the beach to see this at Capn Sams Inlet, but so worth the effort. Seabrook Island is a photographer's dream. Not only the property itself, with beautiful sunrises and wildlife, but also the surrounding area, specifically Boneyard Beach and Old Sheldon Church ruins. The only complaint I have, is that a sign needs to be posted that the sand on the path to the beach is extremely hot. So hot, that my son-in-law blistered his feet. Something us northerners would never expect. We have hot sand, but nothing like that. Upon leaving the house our grandchildren all agreed that this house we need to rent again. That is high praise."

  • Excellent property, highly recommend

"This property exceeded our expectations. It has a great open layout downstairs with plenty of room for everyone to hang out. All of the bedrooms are spacious, each having an attached bathroom. The house is well maintained and the owner is great to work with. The whole island is quiet and peaceful, but this place is tucked back where all you usually hear are the birds. The beach and pools are a short walk or drive away. We would definitely stay here if we are ever in Seabrook again."

  • We Love This Home!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful vacation and very much enjoyed staying in this beautiful beach home. I think it's the shortest walk to the beach that I've ever had which was really nice with small children. We stayed here with another family and we had four small children with us. The home was impeccably well maintained and spotless. One of the rooms was very warm the first night so we called and the management company handled it promptly and professionally. We had no other issues during our stay. My husband and I stayed in the top floor master bedroom and were able to fit our 18 month old in the closet in a rental crib. The closet even had an air vent inside so it was the coolest, darkest bedroom in the house. He slept very well. We would love to come back to this wonderful place!"

  • If I am asleep, don't wake me up

"My family rented this house for my mom's 87th birthday. It was a special birthday as she is going through chemo treatments. The house is simply amazing. Lots of room with two tables that fit all ten of us and two more on screened in porches that fit 8. there are two dens with large TVs and TVs in every bedroom except one.The kitchen is huge with lots of space to store and cook. There are even 2 ovens. Each bedroom has a porch or a balcony with beautiful views. Speaking of views, when you walk into the house and you see the view from the back of the house, it is nothing short of stunning. it is on a waterway with sweeping views of the marsh and the beach behind it (the end of Kiawah). The porch was huge with a nice ocean breeze that made it easy to sit outside all day and night. We rented kayaks and took a short trip just around the bend to the beach at the end of Kiawah. We saw dolphins every time we took a trip. there were so many birds, include a bald eagle, and so many bird noises, I swear I felt like I was in Africa. We took a bike ride to the kayak launch and the beach at Seabrook and saw several deer and yes, more birds. It was breathtaking. If I had to mention two small things (and they are very small ) in the interested of improvement, I would suggest cleaning off the porch and screened in porches and providing some bigger wine glasses (lol). This place was simply spectacular."
