"Every few years our family holds a reunion. In the past we stayed at Myrtle Beach, Folly Beach and none came close to the house we rented at Isle of Palms. Everything was top of the line, the furniture, the appliances, including a super quiet elevator. The location could not be better. Buying food and beverages was "easy peasy". Same with a day trip to Charleston and a bit of history, and a visit to the Bubba Gump shrimp factory. No one in our group had the least complaint. It was the opposite. Five stars for the house, and three cheers for the owner: Curtis Kay"

"We really enjoyed our stay in this villa. The location was perfect. About a 2 minute bike ride or 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Definitely one of the closer units in the Turtle Cove area to the beach. Besides a rogue beetle/spider or two, the villa was in great shape and very clean. The updated TVs were great and a nice selection of cable channels. We loved the size of the screened in porch. Comfortable for even 6-8 people and a great view. The deer walked right up to the porch and we saw quite a few alligators. The king bed in the master was really comfy and the secondary bedroom was a great size - very spacious. The kitchen was outdated from a finishes standpoint but who cares? We had everything we needed! And it was great that it was not on ground level but you only had to go up about 5 steps. Overall we had a great trip and will come back to this villa."

"Just returned from a week-long stay at the "Chicken House" and have nothing but great things to say. The house is charming and comfortable, especially if you like a vintage, retro feel -- it's all of that in the best way. Yes, only one bathroom, but our party of 6 really didn't have any problems rotating through. Our party was two couples and two individuals and the bedroom setup was perfect for everyone to have their own space, with a comfortable common room in between and a big kitchen table. The screened porch was the star of the show -- we almost had to arm-wrestle for hammock privileges. Not isolated at all, but far enough off the main drag of Center St. to be quieter in the evenings. The house really did have everything we needed and the views and beach access were stunning. Amanda was a thoroughly gracious host, and we were able to work out a last-minute addition of a couple extra nights to our stay because we weren't ready to leave yet! We've vacationed on Folly for years but have never stayed in the same place twice - but in this case we truly fell in love and can't wait to repeat!"

"My family rented this house for my mom's 87th birthday. It was a special birthday as she is going through chemo treatments. The house is simply amazing. Lots of room with two tables that fit all ten of us and two more on screened in porches that fit 8. there are two dens with large TVs and TVs in every bedroom except one.The kitchen is huge with lots of space to store and cook. There are even 2 ovens. Each bedroom has a porch or a balcony with beautiful views. Speaking of views, when you walk into the house and you see the view from the back of the house, it is nothing short of stunning. it is on a waterway with sweeping views of the marsh and the beach behind it (the end of Kiawah). The porch was huge with a nice ocean breeze that made it easy to sit outside all day and night. We rented kayaks and took a short trip just around the bend to the beach at the end of Kiawah. We saw dolphins every time we took a trip. there were so many birds, include a bald eagle, and so many bird noises, I swear I felt like I was in Africa. We took a bike ride to the kayak launch and the beach at Seabrook and saw several deer and yes, more birds. It was breathtaking. If I had to mention two small things (and they are very small ) in the interested of improvement, I would suggest cleaning off the porch and screened in porches and providing some bigger wine glasses (lol). This place was simply spectacular."
