  • Wonderful, attractive, clean, centrally located, quiet place to stay.

"Although Hurricane Matthew cut our stay quite a bit, our accommodations were wonderful. The owner was helpful and was concerned for our safety. If we ever go back to "finish" our Charleston girls trip, we will stay in the same place and will definitely recommend it to friends."

  • J. Goodhue - Colorado

"Great place to spend time with family and friends. Lots of room - the screened in porch was awesome. Close to the beach. Very clean. Local restaurants were really good. Hope to be able to go again."

  • Great Experience

"We had a wonderful time at Healing Hideaway. My family of 4 and in-laws had plenty of room. Every thing is right around the corner. From restaurants, grocery stores and the beach. My daughter was able to paddle board and canoe in the Folly River while my son and father-in-law fished and crabbed. The best part was my wife and I were able to watch it all from the screened porch with a great breeze and ceiling fan. Melissa, who manages the property lives next door and was very helpful. The only possible negative is parking for this end unit can be a pain. I highly recommend Healing Hideaway."

  • Seasoned IOP vacationer

"Returning from another wonderful IOP vacation. We have stayed at many Wild Dunes condos/homes over the last 20 years. Mariners Walk is an ocean front complex about 2/3 of the way down beach toward the point. Good amount of beach even with high tide. This complex has 2 access points which is very nice. One has stair and the other a ramp so you can take wagon, wheelchair stroller as long as it has not rained significantly because the water can obstruct beach access. Nice pool with a separate baby pool. Not many chairs tables or shade. Very crowded in summer. Bedroom are good size but no king beds. Like the 2 full in one of the bedrooms instead of twins. The first floor is crowded with the huge leather sofa and kitchen is tiny. I like to cook and thus was not ideal! Many of the condos in the area in this price range have been remodeled and this one could use a little. Still pretty clean but carpet could use update. Lots of steps so better for those who don't have mobility issues. Nice owners who are easy to work with. Bring your own beach chairs if you don't like sitting on camping chairs."
