  • My favorite trip to my favorite place.

"We had a PERFECT, romantic mini-getaway for our anniversary in June at this condo. We have loved Sullivan's Island for years and always visit when we go to Charleston. This year was the first time we actually stayed on the island, and we will always stay here going forward. The owner was very responsive to emails and inquiries. There aren't many condos on the Island and many of the houses are much larger than we need. The condo's location can not be beat. PERIOD. It is the perfect spot, convenient and walkable to all the good food. We parked our car, and really did not want to get back in. Aside from heading to IOP for a delicious breakfast (Acme Breakfast Co) one morning and a jaunt downtown for a special dinner (Blossom followed by Jeni's Splendid ice cream--you must go there!) one night, we did not move our car. We clocked over 25,000 steps on our fitbit multiple days in a row. :) It is a small but efficient condo. Perfect for a couple, and the bedroom was very dark (that's a good thing at night) and comfortable. I slept great every single night we were there, and I usually have sleep issues. The white noise of the AC helped, I believe. We ran in the morning back over the Sawyer bridge to Mt Pleasant and enjoyed beautiful sunrises. We walked south on the beach until we didn't see a soul. One of my favorite thing about SI are the beautiful and quiet beaches. It was so peaceful to see the marine life and watch the boats pass by. If you walk far enough you can see the Cooper River bridge which is a perfect backdrop for pictures. We spent the last night on the beach as the sunset behind the lighthouse and got the most amazing pictures. I can not adequately express how PERFECT these 4 days in SI, SC were for us. I have been day-dreaming of going back next year already-- and when we do we plan to book this same condo! Can't wait!! Thank you, Carol, for a lovely stay."

  • Perfect Get Away

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and location was perfect for our family get away. It allowed everyone space to be together, as well as areas to be a little more sucluded. With just steps from the beach, we could enjoy the sun and sand, or just sit on one of the decks, and enjoy the sound of the surf. The decks were also perfect for watching the sun rise! We look forward to returning very soon!"

  • If I am asleep, don't wake me up

"My family rented this house for my mom's 87th birthday. It was a special birthday as she is going through chemo treatments. The house is simply amazing. Lots of room with two tables that fit all ten of us and two more on screened in porches that fit 8. there are two dens with large TVs and TVs in every bedroom except one.The kitchen is huge with lots of space to store and cook. There are even 2 ovens. Each bedroom has a porch or a balcony with beautiful views. Speaking of views, when you walk into the house and you see the view from the back of the house, it is nothing short of stunning. it is on a waterway with sweeping views of the marsh and the beach behind it (the end of Kiawah). The porch was huge with a nice ocean breeze that made it easy to sit outside all day and night. We rented kayaks and took a short trip just around the bend to the beach at the end of Kiawah. We saw dolphins every time we took a trip. there were so many birds, include a bald eagle, and so many bird noises, I swear I felt like I was in Africa. We took a bike ride to the kayak launch and the beach at Seabrook and saw several deer and yes, more birds. It was breathtaking. If I had to mention two small things (and they are very small ) in the interested of improvement, I would suggest cleaning off the porch and screened in porches and providing some bigger wine glasses (lol). This place was simply spectacular."

  • Loved it!!!

"We had an amazing trip! The house was clean and ready for us. Working with the owner was easy and pleasant!! Our kids loved sleeping in "The Pit" and thought it was so much fun. With the beach so close, this was an amazing find for us! Wouldn't change a thing, but I do have some advice: if you are prone to attracting mosquitoes, bring bug spray!! That didn't detract from our AWESOME weekend, but they were definitely out and about when you went outside. We had so much fun celebrating my daughter and friends birthday. Can't wait to do it again next year!!!"
