  • Clean, Equipped, Comfortable and Perfect Location

"We've been visiting the Charleston/Mt. Pleasant area for many years and rented a variety of homes on the beach, close to the beach and in the community. This property is one of the cleanest and best yet for the price. We had our 4 grandchildren, daughter, and son-in-law move in with us and it was perfect. The house is roomy with all the necessary kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom items you'd have at home. Every time I looked for something we forgot, I found it in the home. It's very conveniently located. It's 10 minutes from the beach, and 5 minutes from shopping. I'd recommend this rental to my friends and family."

  • Our favorite place to stay at Kiawah

"We love this cottage and have stayed here multiple times with 2 young children. Howard and Donna are wonderful and easy to work with in planning your trip. We thought the cottage was beautiful the first time we stayed there, but each year that we've come back they've made even more wonderful improvements and updates to the decor. The kitchen is well stocked, and there's a great outdoor grill. We love the outdoor shower for rinsing off kids after returning from the beach. We also love having access to the community pool that is located right near the entrance to the beach. The lagoon view from the screened porch is a relaxing place for an evening cocktail after a day at the beach. We highly recommend this cottage."

  • Ohio couple share a relaxing week on the beach!

"This is our 2nd visit to the Shipwatch Wild Dunes complex. This is the perfect place if you want to be away from the noise of a typical beach, but close enough to enjoy some of the greatest food in the country. My wife and I came for a week and brought our road bikes. In the morning we would ride from the condo all over Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island, seeing the historic sites and beautiful houses. We would return in the late morning and hang out at the beach and read/swim for 4 to 5 hours, then in the evening make the 20 minute drive into Charleston to enjoy fabulous dining. The last night we ate at the Boat House (on the south end of the island, a place we have driven and rode by hundreds of times but never stopped) and it was also fantastic. The north end of Isle of Palms where Shipwatch is located is not very crowded, is very quiet, there is a lot of good walking along the beach, and the waves were fantastic the week we were there ! This was good for me, but my wife wasn't thrilled. This owner had a storage closet with beach chairs and a boogie board that we could use, which was very convenient. We will definitely return again next year, because there are still areas we still want to explore."

  • Absolutely Beautiful and Wonderful

"We stayed 5 nights. The place was absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It was more than we had expected. Much more. The location is perfect, the house was immaculate, the stay was perfect. We didn't have pets and even though it is pet friendly, other than the pictures you couldn't tell an animal had ever been in there. Arline was extremely easy to work with and the information she as at the house, was awesome. We plan on going back sometime in the future (it was a little too hot this time) to finish seeing and doing what we wanted to do. Do not hesitate if you are looking for a GREAT place to stay. This is the perfect place!!!!"
