  • Awesome View!!

"My wife and I stayed in unit 323 with our 1 child and enjoyed the beautiful ocean view from the top floor. It was quiet at night in the villa as you have no one above you. The only drawback is no elevator, but hey it was a good workout. We loved being closed to Coligny, we enjoyed some of the great restaurants, Ice Cream, and shops. There is also a Piggly Wiggly in Coligny that is super convenient if you run out of the essentials. We also recommend French Kiss Bakery for your morning fix of Caffeine and fine pastries. Be sure to stake your beach area early as it can be a busy area and the tide rises significantly. Bill and Susan were awesome renters too; they responded to a few minor issues we had with the AC and Garbage disposal quickly and got things running again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

  • Lovely, comfortable, spacious condo at nice resort

"Our family of four truly enjoyed our week here in this beautifully decorated, spacious condo. We were pleasantly surprised that the condo is even nicer in person and had plenty of room for all our stuff without being crowded. We loved the big writing desk, the big farmhouse table, the balcony overlooking the pool, and the views of the ocean from everywhere! The kitchen had just about everything we needed. The bathrooms were large with plenty of towels and counter and storage space. Hampton Place was lovely. We enjoyed a smaller resort feel with the important amenities available - pools, fitness center, beach. My favorite spot during the week was the relaxing reading deck overlooking the dunes and ocean. We took walks on the beach by day and did stargazing on the beach by night. We ventured to Sea Pines to walk through the forest preserve and saw the sunset (and dolphins!) at Harbour Town. We also walked around Ibis Pond at the Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge where we enjoyed seeing alligators and a variety of birds. This comfortable condo felt like home and we would love to return!"

  • Wonderful Week

"This was a great house for us to rent! Our kids were thrilled to be so close to the beach. They each had their own bedroom apart from ours, so we all got some much needed rest. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, including a crockpot. There was a handmixer for us to use for a little baking. My oldest son was working on a cooking merit badge for an Eagle Scout requirement and he had everything he needed to fix us breakfast one morning and then a shrimp feast that night. My husband looked longingly at the crabtraps outside, but he never got around to it. My youngest son and I loved to hang out together on the breezy, shaded screened in porch. And we all enjoyed eating our meals on the table on that porch. The owners were very sweet people to interact with and extremely responsive to anything we needed. At one point, I mentioned to them that there was an issue with the lights on the golf cart. It wasn't something that we expected to be fixed during our stay, but he had someone out there that afternoon to fix it. Some of the things that we enjoyed during our stay included shopping for fresh shrimp at the Gay Fish Co, eating at Dockside, and the Beaufort Shrimp Festival. The fried shrimp made by Sea Dog Market at the festival was delicious and I don't really care for fried shrimp. We also drove back to Port Royal to take the kids to their first drive in movie. I would definitely consider this home for our next vacation. Thank-you for a fantastic week!"

  • Wonderful accommodations for my handicapped son

"I have never been a beach person, but I wanted my family to have some time away with nephews before they graduate high school this year. We had visited Hilton Head once before, and I found the family-oriented setting more to my liking than the commercial aspects of most beaches. I also have a 15-year old son who has cerebral palsy, and he has extreme needs for his care such as a wheelchair and bathing chair. This home seemed to fit our needs of accessibility and openness. From my first inquiry about the property, the homeowners were very honest and courteous in their responses to my questions. The home was everything they told us and more. Its proximity to the beaches, community pools, and other amenities made it perfect for our needs. Most of all, my son seemed to feel like he was in his home and ordinary surroundings. The trip and experience with the homeowners was first class. I recommend 1 Bank Swallow for anyone, and especially for families with special needs members."
