"My husband and I LOVED our carefree week at the beach! The condo's location to the beach was perfect. After a short walk (maybe 400 steps) on the path, you can set up your umbrella and chairs and plant your toes in the sand. If you prefer to drive, there is a parking area right at the beach. On a beautiful summer day, those spaces go quickly. Because we didn't want to carry our chairs, umbrella, and cooler, my husband would drop off our belongings and me at the beach turn around. If he was lucky, he parked in a beach parking space. If not, he just drove our vehicle back to the condo and walked back to the beach.
The condo was just what we needed. Not only was the location perfect, everything we needed was in this well-maintained condo. I know this might sound crazy, but I really appreciated the full size washer and dryer. After spending several hours at the beach, it was nice to return to the condo and wash our towels and bathing suits. The bedroom was extremely large, and the king-size bed was comfortable. Thankfully my son was able to visit with us for a few days. He slept on the sleeper sofa in the living room. He said the sleeper sofa was comfortable, and he slept well. The two bathrooms came in handy! For some odd reason, sitting on the beach makes you hungry! With two bathrooms, my husband and I could both get ready at the same time. That meant we could head out to the restaurants shortly after returning from our day at the beach.
We enjoyed every meal we ate during our week on Hilton Head Island. On our first day of vacation, we headed over to the Sea Shack for lunch. The food was yummy, and the portions were huge! I don't think the cook could have piled any more fish on my plate. You would have sworn the lunch portion was a dinner portion. One night, we visited the Frosty Frog Cafe for dinner. We ate our dinner while sitting outside listening to a gentleman play his guitar. Two nights in a row, we visited the Hilton Head Diner. Oh my goodness, you have to order the gyro platter if you are hungry. The gyro was yummy, and the Greek salad was piled high on the plate! Don't forget to order dessert! If you like diners, you might also want to stop by Harold's Diner for breakfast or lunch. We sat at the counter and enjoyed Philly cheese steaks and onion rings. Giuseppi's Pizza also hit the spot, and Philly's Cafe offered yummy hoagies.
I highly recommend a trip to Hilton Head Island and a stay at this condo!"
