  • Love being so close to the beach !

"We wait all year long for our vacations and this was one of our best trips ever. We loved the house and how close we were to the beach. We paid to heat the pool and it was excellent and enjoyed it several times a day. The house had great rooms, plenty of space and offered a relaxing atmosphere. Please make a book about how to use the TV's and DVD's and where all the lights are located. We were there several days until we found the pool lights for night time use. We did have some difficulty learning the living room DVD and the fan. A book would offer some much needed information and other homes we have rented have had these and we have always used them. We ate at Skull Creek Boathouse and the grouper was really good. Our other favorite is Frankie Bones..a very nice quiet dinner. We took our grandchildren to Harbor Town for the pirate ship ride and they loved it and we had a great time too. We walked around afterwards, had ice cream and then took the boys to the park nearby and they got to let off some steam. I am so glad they came from Seattle for our HHI vacation and that the weather was good to us. We drove to Charlotte one day and toured the war ship and took the ferry over to Fort Sumter and I think this was a favorite for everyone, even the 5 year old. All in all we had a lovely vacation and always enjoy our trips to HHI and this house met our needs and was very nice. Some coffee cups were chipped and the kitchen needed some updating but we are so thankful that we can experience HHI vacations that we are willing to overlook these things. The owners Julie and Kevin were very helpful and made planning our trip very easy. Don't forget to use the beach cart the owners offer and further down the road is an access to the beach that is stairs. We would recommend this house to others!"

  • Family Vacation to Hilton Head 2016

"Each year we try to take a family vacation where my kids and their families join my wife and I. We love the Hilton Head area and have vacationed on the island several times. Naturally finding the most suitable property is important to us and once again we did this year. 28 Heath Drive met all of our expectations in virtually every way. Having all of the amenities that a young family may need (pac -n-play, high chair, extra bedding, pool toys, etc., etc.) were just an added bonus. Probably one of the greatest experiences was having a responsive and caring owner that was readily available to assist with anything about which we had questions. Thank you Bill Healy for sharing your home with us!"

  • Great house with great location to the beach

"We rented 5 Junket for a family vacation. We had 7 adults and 4 kids. This house has plenty of room and privacy for all. We had 3 girls, ages 13 and under, who stayed in the 1st floor kids room. It was almost like their own private suite. They loved it. The 1st floor master bedroom is HUGE! Complete with walk in closet. The fact that each bedroom has it's own accompanying full bathroom was a huge plus in our book. There is also a 1/2 bath on the main level. The pool was great and the whole back outdoor setting was wonderful. There is a nice breeze that blows on the front porch a good portion of the time, perfect for reading or watching the ocean through the neighbor's peek-a-boo patio. The beach path is literally right next to the back pool area and just a short walk down to the beach/ocean. It was even easy for the great grandmother of our group to walk down to the beach with some assistance. The elevator was helpful to unload and reload the cars upon arrival/departure. We did have cell phone signal problems when we first got there so I couldn't pull up the app with the key code to get in. I should have written it down ahead of time but I messaged someone else in our group and they were able to send it to me. We did have to reset the modem when we first go there as well in order to get a connection. It's a beautiful home and property and even though the beach path goes right by the house, the trees and landscaping provide you with plenty of coverage to feel tucked away. There are a lot of leaves/twigs etc. that fall due to the foliage around the pool area so just be aware of that. It wasn't an issue for us but if you are picky about that sort of thing, it may bother you. We would highly recommend 5 Junket and hope to return again someday!!"
