  • Above The Rest

"This was to be the second vacation for my family at 908 Inverness on Hilton Head Island. I had plans for an awesome week at but apparently Hurricane Matthew needed a place to rest more than I did. Chris communicated with me during the week to let me know it was possible my vacation would be delayed due to evacuation of the island and hurricane warnings. He kept me up to date and by Saturday we were sure our vacation was not going to happen there. I asked Chris if his rental at Smith Mountain Lake, VA was open. Even though it was booked, Chris came to the rescue and found us a place in the same area. Friends, that is service! Rarely do you find someone who goes above and beyond the call of duty. I would certainly recommend any of his rentals. The rentals are top notch and Chris is above the rest when it comes to service. We were so disappointed by Hurricane Matthew but we had an awesome trip to Smith Mountain Lake, VA. Thanks Chris for the best service ever! Sincerely, Gale Barnett"

  • Inverness Villa 958, Palmetto Dunes Plantation

"Our family really enjoyed staying at Inverness Village, Villa 958 in Palmetto Dunes Plantation. The owners, Nancy & Bill responded quickly to our initial request for information and made booking very easy. The Villa is decorated nicely, with everything we needed for the week. We ate in for breakfast and lunch daily, and cooked in for two dinner meals, and had everything we needed. The Villa is well kept, very clean and all of the furniture and beds are very comfortable and look pretty new. The 3 bedrooms are large, with 3 large full bathrooms. It was perfect for our family of 4, but easily could have been fine for 5-6. We didn't watch much TV, but did enjoy a few movies from the owners' many selections in stock. Nancy & Bill made checking-in and out very simply with a local couple in a nearby Villa. Our parking pass ($10 extra) was waiting for us at security. Everything was perfect. Palmetto Dunes is a great location. We enjoyed golfing the 3 18-hole courses, and watching golfers from the back patio. The bike/walking/jogging paths are wide and very convenient. The beach is 5-10 minutes away. Pool and Tennis are close. The General Store and Outfitters a 10 min walk. We got a 15% discount on our weekly bike rental. Palmetto Dunes runs free shuttle service to Shelter Cove Marina for nice shops, fireworks and restaurants. Great place all around for a family vacation. We will definitely be back!"

  • Super comfortable house

"This was a great house that accommodated two families very comfortably. Big bedrooms, extremely comfortable beds (my daughter said hers was the most comfortable bed she had ever slept in), good living space, a smallish but well equipped kitchen and great bathrooms. The pool area was a leafy oasis with a very decent sized pool that was shady all morning and in the later afternoon. The outside area could do with a lick of paint and a clean up of the patio furniture but that did not impact our stay. The bikes and pool chairs to borrow were a great bonus. The location was great in Palmetto Dunes near the tennis courts, store and a short drive to Kroger/Wholefoods etc at Shelter Cove and a short walk to the beach. We had a fantastic time here and would definitely come back."

  • Great Family Vacation in Palmetto Dunes

"This was our first trip to the ocean as a family and we all had a wonderful time! This condo was spacious, clean, and in a convenient location. I really enjoyed my breakfast while sitting on the patio watching the golfers go by. We rode our bikes to the beach for crabbing, the pool, and nearby Shelter Cove for the fireworks. We also rode our bikes and walked on the golf course in the evenings. The one floor plan was helpful when unloading the beach toys- we used the hose to rinse off the sand from the boogie boards, flip flops, beach chairs, etc.The master bath walk in shower was amazing with 2 shower heads and the dual sinks a plus! The extra special bonus for us was the 3 bikes available which saved us a considerable amount of money since there were 6 of us. We highly recommend this condo - Palmetto Dunes is Awesome!"
