  • The property was nicely decorated and well maintained. We were very pleased with our stay.

"We had a good experience with the property. We choose this unit as it had three bedrooms which worked out well with our three teenagers. The unit was nicely decorated and well maintained. It also had some nice extras like three bikes, a gas grill, beach chairs, etc."

  • Everything was WONDERFUL, and it all starts with the owners!

"Our family made a huge move this summer--after years of staying at Sea Pines, we needed a larger condo for our vacation to accommodate the kids' friends (and maybe some visiting family). We were hoping to find something close to a pool AND the beach, which put any property in Sea Pines out of our price range. With some nervous anticipation, we expanded our search to other plantations, and discovered this condo in Palmetto Dunes that fit every one of our criteria. Big and roomy, beautifully maintained, with a pool right outside the back deck (and others within walking distance in the Queens Grant subdivision), and just a short trip away from the beach. As I mentioned, we were nervous...and this is where the owners make this condo an unforgettable experience! I emailed Robin numerous times with questions, and she patiently answered me each time with solutions and helpful recommendations. Once you get to the condo, she has an entire bulletin board full of information answering every possible question you might have about the property, Palmetto Dunes, and the surrounding Hilton Head area. And the condo is completely stocked with everything you'd need, from beach chairs and sand pails to a gas grill and fishing gear. Every time we opened a cabinet, we were amazed by what was provided for our use. We loved the condo. Everything is so comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, with updated bedrooms and bathrooms. Master shower is a treat in itself. Kids were able to crash at night with TVs and DVD players. The pool outside our deck gave us the ability to give the kids the freedom to swim on their own. The golf course right behind the pool includes a restaurant (Big Jim's), so you can give "the cook" a break after long days at the beach. And the Dunes Buggy beach service is incredible! A van will pick up your entire family and your coolers/chairs/towels, take you to the beach FREE...then pick you back up, all with a simple phone call! I could go on and on. This condo and its owners made this an ideal rental, and we will definitely be back in 2017!"

  • So good I didn't want to write this review!

"There are so many things my family and I loved about our stay here, I'd much rather have kept it a secret. However, it was so great that it wouldn't be fair not to share. The furnishings were perfect for the 6 of us---3 adults, 1 college kid, a teenager and a middle-schooler. Plenty of room at mealtimes and movie nights. The decor was warm and functional without being kitschy or "beachy." The bedrooms had very nice beds, plenty of closet space and dressers , and nice private baths. I would even say a bit "hotel-like." Sturdy and beautiful. The memory-foam topped king bed in the master bedroom was particularly heavenly! The patio (accessible from the living room and master bedroom) opens to a common area in the distance, but it was quiet with lots of birds and bugs chirping, and a favorite place of ours early in the morning. The location is great-- 2 blocks to the general store (expensive!), about 10-15 minute walk to the beach, and an easy bike ride to almost everything. Pro tip: rent bikes if you're able and bring a back pack for trips to the grocery store. We spent a week there and hardly used our cars. Kroger, Whole Foods, restaurants, and the gym (Lava24 fitness) were all about a 5-10 minute bike ride away. The bike path goes under the main roadway so it's very safe and good for Pokemon hunting. The unit is also located close to the extra parking lot which was very convenient. There are 2 pools in the Queens grant community and we accidentally went to the far one. It was smaller than we would have hoped, but fine for a dip or for a little diversion. Instead, I would recommend heading to the beach instead. You can call the Dunes Buggy to pick you up and take you if you don't feel like walking. The fact that this was the hardest decision we had to make on the trip shows you what a luxurious stay we had! The bottom line is that this place somehow felt like home and also had many comforts of a rental. Highly recommended."
