  • Beautiful place!

"Our family goes to Hilton Head Island every year, we have stayed many places, this place was super cute and clean. The porch was a huge hit for our family! The grill was a definite plus as well. my daughter absolutely loved watching the turtles, I wouldn't recommend trying to feed the turtles, it does attract alligators (duh). This place will defiantly be seeing the Gladding family more often! If you are a review freak go to this place. I constantly write reviews on places and I was overly impressed."

  • Great location and wonderful layout.

"Our vacation began with attentive and kind service from Bob, himself. He was informative and compassionate as we needed to make some last minute plans. I am so grateful. The actual home is in a perfect location in Palmetto Dunes. We walked to tennis every morning, walked to the beach in the afternoon, walked to rent bikes, walked to rent kayaks, walked to lunch. It is close to everything. Our family has 6 people (4 kids). The layout gave everyone their own space and bathroom. Each bedroom has its own porch. It gave us time together and time to be on our own. We loved it. Thanks so much, Bob!"

  • 20 years to Hilton Head. Best yet!

"My husband and I have been visiting Hilton Head for almost 20 years. If we come by ourselves or with another couple we almost always stay at Captain's Walk. The location in Palmetto Dunes is excellent and Captain's Walk is a small enough complex that it doesn't feel crowded. The complex is just 3 buildings all with magnificent views of the ocean. We have rented a number of different condos - all in the middle building. The problem - it is right next to the pool which can be quite noisy particularly during spring break or summer months. We are now in our late 60's and although we know kids can get noisy while having fun - that's not something we want to hear while sitting on the balcony enjoying the ocean views. So this year for our spring visit we decided to try one of the "outside" buildings. Still great views, still excellent beach access, everything the middle building offered without the noise. Now to Unit 472. All I can say is this will be our choice for future visits. The unit is updated and very clean. The furniture is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything one needs for cooking in. Linens are excellent. I especially appreciate the second bedroom with its queen and twin bed. This has worked out perfectly for our children to join us during their spring break - one family of 3 the first week and another family of 3 the second week. No one had to sleep on the sleeper sofa. Most other condos have either just a queen or 2 twins in the guest bedroom. Also the second bath can be accessed from the second bedroom - no need to enter from the hall. The floor plan is perfect. And finally my pet peeve when renting a condo - this one does not have dusty silk or plastic greenery. The couple that are here are dust free. I usually put them out of sight until we leave. I haven't touched these😄"

  • The best in Moorings/Beach Villas for pet owners.

"We have visited HH for over 20+ years and this is the best pet friendly condo we have ever stayed in. It's very comfortable and roomy with everything you need. I am used to traveling with extras for the kitchen such as a good skillet, sharp knife, t-towels, etc. but didn't need them for this condo. The closets even have hangers....hundreds of hangers. Large bathrooms with double sinks in the master and powerful water pressure. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. You can tell Roseanne replaces her bedding/bath towels (plenty) as needed. Wonderful couch and loveseat...I think they are brand new. The patios were great for relaxing with nice chairs and two large round tables with chairs for eating outside. The upstairs patio had wonderful lounge chairs and an awesome view of the beach. These patios get the morning sun and afternoon and evening shade...perfect. We don't vacation without our dog Jake, and it is so nice to find a great property where we can bring him. There is even an outside hose where we could rinse him off after coming back from the beach. I have tried to list all the things that are important to us and what others may be interested in. I have no negatives to say about this condo. I highly recommend going through owners instead of rental companies . You get much more personal care by the owners as we received with Roseanne. We left this property the day before Hilton Head began evacuating for Hurricane Matthew. I am praying this property survived with little damage but I know Roseanne will bring it back to her standards!"
