  • So good I didn't want to write this review!

"There are so many things my family and I loved about our stay here, I'd much rather have kept it a secret. However, it was so great that it wouldn't be fair not to share. The furnishings were perfect for the 6 of us---3 adults, 1 college kid, a teenager and a middle-schooler. Plenty of room at mealtimes and movie nights. The decor was warm and functional without being kitschy or "beachy." The bedrooms had very nice beds, plenty of closet space and dressers , and nice private baths. I would even say a bit "hotel-like." Sturdy and beautiful. The memory-foam topped king bed in the master bedroom was particularly heavenly! The patio (accessible from the living room and master bedroom) opens to a common area in the distance, but it was quiet with lots of birds and bugs chirping, and a favorite place of ours early in the morning. The location is great-- 2 blocks to the general store (expensive!), about 10-15 minute walk to the beach, and an easy bike ride to almost everything. Pro tip: rent bikes if you're able and bring a back pack for trips to the grocery store. We spent a week there and hardly used our cars. Kroger, Whole Foods, restaurants, and the gym (Lava24 fitness) were all about a 5-10 minute bike ride away. The bike path goes under the main roadway so it's very safe and good for Pokemon hunting. The unit is also located close to the extra parking lot which was very convenient. There are 2 pools in the Queens grant community and we accidentally went to the far one. It was smaller than we would have hoped, but fine for a dip or for a little diversion. Instead, I would recommend heading to the beach instead. You can call the Dunes Buggy to pick you up and take you if you don't feel like walking. The fact that this was the hardest decision we had to make on the trip shows you what a luxurious stay we had! The bottom line is that this place somehow felt like home and also had many comforts of a rental. Highly recommended."

  • PERFECT VACATION HOME

"This is truly a beach paradise. The house was absolutely beautiful, very well maintained and the location is great. It was immaculate, spacious, and had everything we needed. It’s perfect for kids of all ages. The kitchen had plenty of counter space as well as a large gas cook top and double oven. The pool was clean and well-lit for those late night swims. The beach was clean, private and only a short walk from the house. For those who are sports enthusiast, the game room is perfect for “game day”. The pool table and ping pong table were an added bonus. This is probably one of the best vacation homes we have stayed in. I will definitely be taking my children and grandchildren next time. There are plenty of things to keep them well occupied. I would highly recommend this house."

  • LOOK NO FURTHER! You've found your perfect oceanfront vacation home!

"What a great home for a family vacation! We've been coming to HHI for 25+ years and stayed at many oceanfront properties. Marc's properties (be sure to ask about his others if you can't stay at Dinghy), are by far the best places for we have ever stayed. Now that our kids are grown with families, we needed a larger space to accommodate everyone. This is it! There is lots of room to allow a little privacy and great common areas for everyone to enjoy. My daughter particularly enjoyed having the pool right outside the main living areas. It was easy to keep an eye on the kids, plus it was super easy to enjoy morning coffee and sandwiches for lunch without having to trapse up and down a deck to talk to your family. Marc provides EVERYTHING you need except food. All you need to do when you get there is go pick up whatever food you may need and you're all set. Read the other reviews that list all the stuff Marc provides. It is absolutely wonderful not to have to try and think of all the things you need to buy on your grocery run!! Just food! One of the great things is the separate undercounter ice maker by the sink and the stand alone filtered water dispenser....no more big jugs of water to change here. We particularly enjoyed the bikes Marc provides. We used to always rent bikes, and then you feel guilty if you don't use them. I should also mention, for the newbies, there are miles of paved bike paths that make getting around easy while enjoying a beautiful ride. Also, Dinghy is a dead end and there is NO THROUGH TRAFFIC. It is wonderful for walking your dog plus it is nice and quiet. You will truly be stunned when you stay at one of Marc's properties. While we have stayed with Marc a couple of times, this was the first time we had a chance to meet him. He came by Sunday afternoon to be sure everything was OK and I actually mentioned a couple of things and he was on it immediately!! He seems like an old friend when you meet him and he is very engaging. His main concern is that you have a great experience at his property. We look forward to our next stay at one of Marc's properties!!"

  • Beach Paradise

"We absolutely loved our stay in Hilton Head. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful beach home with us - it was perfect! My husband and I have stayed in Palmetto Dunes several times and this was a first for our daughter and grandson. Your home is our new favorite! We were all very comfortable and felt very much at home while staying at your spacious place. I will say I overpacked -- so many rentals claim to have the kitchen essentials - only to find you need a trip to the store for storage containers, a matching set of cups or glasses...but not at your place it was well equipped down to a couple of extra beach chairs, pail and shovel. Your love for this home is evident in the attention to detail. The furnishings were also very comfortable and well maintained. It was truly a great time for all and we can't wait to come back in the future. We sincerely appreciate you sharing your lovely home with us!!!"
