"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our stay was wonderful, especially in terms to beach access, with a path right beside our rental home, and in the neighborhood, with its quiet streets and beautiful, plentiful trees and other foliage."

  • ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS

"Wow!! We have been to Sea Pines many times for our family vacation, but hands down this is our favorite house. We were traveling with 3 adults and 4 young adults. This house had plenty of room to spread out. My nephew stayed in the den he called it his "MAN CAVE." We spent most of our time at the beach everyday, it was just us and another couple. Like having your own private beach. We always relaxed at the pool in the afternoon. The pool gets full sun till about 4:00 which was wonderful. Also it is less than 2 blocks to Salty Dog Marina. The house has everything you need for a week away from home. We were sad to leave, this house as been renovated in spring 2016. We had an issue when we were picking up our car passes, but one call to Susan and it was quickly resolved. * The house is located right off of the beach walk, but once on the beach it is several yards before you get to the water. This was not a problem for us, but if you have small child or transport a lot of stuff to beach it seems like a hike. I would like to thank Susan for sharing her home with our family. This is a lovely home and our family made such great memories."

  • Great family vacation house!!

"This was the 1st time we did a huge family vacation. We had 8 adults and 2 children under the age of 4 years of age and this house was great! The kitchen was fully equipped with the everything you needed and more! The pool was a perfect size for us and my 3 years old and 10 month old were little bugs the whole entire trip! The walk to beach was less then 5 minutes long and the beach is not crowed at all. We never had to fight for a spot in the beach which was really nice. We only had one little hiccup the A/C went but we called beach properties and they came out with fans within 15mins of us calling and the HVAC guy came out within the hour we had called and fixed the problem ASAP! Couldn't have asked for better service. This house is amazing and we will becoming back here for more family fun in Hilton Head! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!"

  • First Dual-Family Stay at 5 Beachside Drive

"We just completed our first stay at Sea Pines after being loyal Hilton Head vacationers for years. The layout of 5 Beachside was ideal for two families (each with two adults and two young children). The photos don't do justice to the living space, which is perfect for spreading out and enjoying downtime. We utilized the Carolina Room as a play area and the screened porch as a yoga/workout area and adults' retreat after the kids' bedtime. The kitchen was well stocked and dining table was spacious enough for all 8 of our guests. A small pool is a stone's throw from the front door and the Salty Dog Cafe and boardwalk are directly across the street. Harbourtown is a quick drive as well. Concerns: - Cleanliness: Mold in downstairs master bath; floors throughout the home need a thorough cleaning, especially since the unit is marketed to large parties which likely include children. - Wifi and cable service went out completely Fri-Sat (not reported since it was so late in our stay) - Use garbage disposal sparingly--we had to request a service call (though tech did fix the issue quickly) - Small refrigerator, especially for large parties who intend to cook meals in the unit - Though the home has ocean views, proximity to the beach is deceiving. Sand dunes make the walk to the beach difficult with children and beach gear. - Cosmetic: Decor appears cheap, worn and outdated (stains on furniture, knobs missing on dressers, etc.). Owners have obviously invested in the addition of new living space; however, our party was disappointed in the lack of attention paid to furnishings."
