  • Beautiful home, great location!

"We just returned from our 10-day stay at 90 South Sea Pines Drive and we were very pleased with this home. We have been traveling to HHI for 5 years, and this was our first time staying in Sea Pines. Although it felt a bit removed from the busier area of Coligny, it was nice to escape to the peace and quiet. The bike trails in Sea Pines are absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed several family bike rides to Harbour Town and Lawton Stables (about 3.5 miles each). The layout of the home was perfect for our group, which consisted of my mother, my sister and brother-in-law, and my family of four (plus our 3 dogs!). The bonus room was perfect for my family - my husband and I slept in the queen bed and our kids slept in twins. Having the bedrooms on one side of the house, separated from the living area on the other side, made it very easy for everyone to have a sense of privacy and allowed us all to go about our early morning or late night activities without disturbing any sleeping members of our group. The kitchen was large and fairly well equipped, and the dining and living rooms were lovely and spacious. Our only complaint was that there was only one couch in the living room -- perhaps another couch or a sectional would be more comfortable for unwinding and watching late night television. The outside decks and pool area of the home are great. The pool depth ranges from 3 to about 5 feet, which was just perfect for my young kids, but also fine for the adults wanting to cool off after returning from a hot day at the beach. The distance to the beach is a short 10 minute walk (shorter if you don't have little ones trying to keep up!) and being able to use the Tower Beach Club entrance was very convenient. We rode our bikes there and parked them, and were able to use the showers to rinse off before returning to the house. The house is about a half-mile from South Beach Marina, which was great for visiting the Salty Dog Cafe and the various shops there. The owner was easy to contact and very helpful when we experienced issues with the air conditioning. Overall, we had a great vacation in a lovely home!"

  • Perfect beach week!

"This condo is the closest one can come to feeling as if you own your own beach house as you can walk directly from you patio through the grass just as few steps to the sand and surf! I would definitely recommend using the local Beach Rental agency for chairs and umbrellas. It was very nice to carry so little on your short walk to the beach and have the shade waiting for you. As some HHI South Beach visitors searched for parking, we only had to step across the street to sit around the Salty Dog Bar for our pina-coladas or cold beers. Great place to stay for long-lasting family memories!"

  • Nice unit, great quiet location in Sea Pines

"My family and I enjoyed staying at this unit, located at the south end of Hilton Head in the Sea Pines resort. The Sea Pines Beach Club is a great amenity and nearby. The unit itself was roomy and very well maintained and very clean. The one complaint I would have is the tv only picked up about 4 stations and had no cable (not even basic) or satellite. The Sea Pines resort has a trolley that takes you to various locations in the resort and has awesome biking/walking trails. There are several restaurants within walking distance, including the famous Salty Dog."

  • Family vacation at the beach

"Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was excellent, as was the accommodation, except for the fact that there were only 7 forks, not enough knives, and a mishmash of glasses. In the past when we have rented units of this caliber there has always been an abundance of matched silverware, glassware and plates. I also found that some of the paint on the cabinets was in poor condition, peeling off the trash bin. The kitchen cabinets and drawers needed some organizing, things were stored in a most haphazard manner, maybe that is because it was late in the summer, and nobody had organized things, I would hope that at the beginning of the season the owners would want to make sure that the kitchen was in good order. But the children did not care - they really enjoyed the proximity of the beach and pool, and having bikes available was a very nice touch. The garage was clearly not part of the housekeeping job as there were abandoned beach toys scattered all over the place, we had to do some tidying up before we could get the car in."
