  • Another great summer in Hilton Head

"Summer this year was the second time we stayed in Shipyard Plantation and the first time in this villa. No doubt that my family and I love this villa a lot! The whole villa is so tastefully decorated, clean and so comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possible need. Sandy, the owner, could not have been easier to deal with, very helpful and accommodating. Spending summer in Hilton Head is always fantastic and we will definitely come back to this villa!"

  • Wonderful!

"My husband and I traveled to Hilton Head Island at the end of July 2016. We had a glorious time, helped, not in a small part, by the lovely, peaceful villa at Evian. The villa is fully kitted with everything you may need for your stay. We ate out most of the time and did not use the kitchen for more than snacks and drinks, but it was fully functional with full sized appliances, silverware, crockery, pots and pans. The villa is a great size, and with the balcony overlooking the golf course and a lagoon, there is ample room for everyone without feeling crowded. (Although, as I said it was just hubby and I staying there). Although the villa is part of a building with a few other villas, this one being on the second floor, we heard nothing from our fellow travelers. The area itself is incredibly peaceful with bike/walking paths throughout. There is a pool well within walking distance, with a lagoon close by, too. There are three 9 hole golf courses in the Shipyard plantation with the '19th hole' being just a 2 minute drive away. Hilton Head Island itself is truly beautiful, with lots to do for young people, but do not expect fairgrounds and water parks here - it is kept with nature very much in the forefront. The beaches are second to none! I feel I must mention the beach access here, although it really has nothing to do with the villa or its owners. The beach access for the plantation is fairly close by - a drive if you need to carry items to the beach. But parking requires a pass and it is quite expensive for the week. This is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. There are other public accesses to beaches quite close by (just a few minutes drive off plantation) with metered parking. The owners were very easy to reach and communicate with. Would certainly recommend this villa and would really enjoy staying here again!"

  • Great space for the price.

"Stay was very nice. The bikes included in the special were already there and waiting when we arrived. The screened porch was very nice. I really enjoyed spending time there. The kitchen was very nice."

  • Relaxing family vacation

"Great place for our family! We were in very good hands even prior to our arrival with exceptional communication about all we needed to know about the property and surrounding area. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is excellent. The beach is an easy walking distance, the pool is just outside the door and there are so many restaurants and shops within a short drive. We rented bikes and loved riding the trails on the plantation. We would definitely recommend this house."
