"My college aged daughter and I just spent an incredibly special week in this unit. First of all, I loved working with the owners whom I respect so much, not only for providing a well kept unit, but also for their environmental interests concerning the preservation of nature on the island and more specifically their support in adopting loggerhead turtle nests which are fascinating! The unit itself was a perfect fit for us. The layout flowed very well and special attention was paid to the decor. Aesthetically, which is important to me while on vacation, the unit was soothing and decorated in beach hues of tranquil blue and sea salt colors. The unit has a been updated recently with lovely flooring and comfortable, stylish furniture. I appreciated the finer details of the recessed LED lighting with dimmers that were strategically placed and the eclectic feel of the furnishings. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything we needed along with the same coffee maker I have at home (nicer than most rentals). My daughter especially enjoyed the balcony after a day at the beach and her shower. The king sized bed was incredibly comfortable. There is plenty of closet space and the laundry room is especially spacious for storing luggage and coolers. The televisions were new, with one in the living area and one in the bedroom. The owners also provide two beach chairs that can be carried on your back. The beach is within walking distance, as is Coligny Plaza. The beach is always healing on a vacation, but the pool at this villa is private and well maintained. It can make you forget there are others on the island. We enjoyed visiting with others at the pool. I am a Foodie. I love to cook. We went out a few times, but mostly cooked in. I would recommend Chow Daddy's and Low Country Backyard. We bought seafood from Barnacle Bill's that was fresh and delicious. We spent one day in Beaufort, a favorite place of mine, and ate at Plums. Beaufort is an easy drive and a lovely town. We hope to return! I will be recommending this unit to my friends. My daughter returned to her school in the northeast, and texted Monday morning sad that she was not waking up at this unit in Hilton Head. This unit is a good fit for a romantic get away or close friends. It was PERFECT for a mother/daughter vacation. I respect that the owners only allow two individuals in the unit and children are not permitted. Thank you, Ben and Mary."

  • Awesome place

"It's small, but it's perfect for a couple. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here, and we could not ask for more. The washer and dryer really came in handy, usually I over-pack, but somehow we ran out of t-shirts, probably because it's so hot. We live 2.5 hrs away, so we're used to the heat, but I can't imagine what it must be like for someone not from South Carolina. Everything was super clean. We got a kick out of the Murphy bed, I'd only seen them in movies before. I had the hardest time keeping my pillow from falling off the back, haha I never thought I'd appreciate a headboard so much; my wife had no trouble with the pillows. For the price you can't beat this place. You can walk pretty much anywhere, and the beach is just across the street. Tracy was very helpful, and gave us a list of cool places. I have a slight disability, but I had very little trouble finding good parking, or getting around the building."

  • Great location, lots of amenities!

"This was an ideal location for families with kids...less than two blocks from the beach! Every day we walked to Coligny for beach fun, shops and restaurants. The villa was very spacious with laundry inside, which was a big plus. Nice kitchen, living rooms, and baths. Great pool, tennis courts, and beautiful grounds!! Minor complaints: no toilet paper anywhere, no instructions for TV remotes, no screen on window upstairs, and it could have been communicated to us the elevator closest to villa was going to be out for a couple of days when we arrived. I don't think it was the owner's fault, as VRBO was very rude on the phone when I brought up the elevator issue. Owner was very gracious and polite about these few issues, and we appreciated that."
