"This was a perfect house for my sisters and our families. It is furnished beautifully and provides everything you need for a great vacation. We had much to celebrate as our family is growing and I could not think of a better place to enjoy my family. Jean"

  • Great Property!!!!!

"Great relaxing and large space! The house is great! Upstairs get away for teen boys without disturbing the downstairs! The house has all the amenities you will ever need. Having a pool with 2 boys, fishing off the dock, and deer passing in the back yard! Great times! Large deck to relax and enjoy out doors/ visitation / meals. Central location in South Carolina. Drive to multiple tourist sites without having to go too far! Would stay here again! Best experience with a VRBO! Sharon is the awesome! Many thanks again Sharon! Jan and Ricky (Tallahassee, FL)"

  • Beautiful condo, lovely view, and fantastic hospitality

"Due to a family matter, we had to go to our hometown of Orangeburg for a few days. After surveying hotel choices, I decided to go to my normally reliable option of VRBO. Due to circumstances and need to reminisce, we chose the Lake Marion area as it held so many memories of my youth. After looking over the available condo/housing choices, this property was clearly heads above the others. Changing family circumstances caused us to alter our arrival date and the owner was super gracious in helping with the modification. The condo far exceeded our expectations. All rooms were perfectly arranged with modern furnishings, yet with a few pieces that had an antique flair. I loved the dresser in the master bedroom as it reminded of the one in my bedroom growing up which really helped on this trip. Even though time did not allow us to take advantage of the garden tub in the master bath, it looked comforting and my wife said we would have to come back to try it out. Despite the reasons for the visit, I slept well due to the very cozy and super comfortable bed. A large table with ample chairs are in the dining room which worked out well for my family. Its round design allowed us to dine and converse easily. The lazy susan is a great touch and I commend the owner on this wise choice. All appliances worked and we had all we needed with none of the usual "I wish the place had..." and it was very clean, my compliments to the cleaners. My family thoroughly enjoyed the balcony, watching the boats enter and leave while we sipped our glasses of wine. Even though we were not prepared to use the pool, it is very clean and the design fits well with the surroundings. I do highly recommend walking the old 301 bridge. It is the right distance for exercise and the view is fantastic. Having driven across this bridge as a young lad, this was a great walk. There are several grocery stores and decent restaurants in the Santee area which should meet practically any taste or need. I highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again when I visit my old stomping grounds."

  • Perfect Lake Getaway!

"We departed the sugar white sands of North West Florida to spend a few days with family located in Charleston and Sumter. So, right off the bat the location was perfect- right between them. We were quickly contacted by the owners after we booked. They are super accommodating and just good people. They took care of all our questions and concerns. Upon arrival - The owner met us and showed us the home and amenities. The House - The décor is perfectly done and tells you "relax and enjoy" from the moment you walk in. It had plenty of room for our family and our extended family. It was stocked with all the basics you could need for summertime fun. The home is a bit older and is not in pristine condition. It is however well kept and in good shape. It's just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the good life. The Amenities- It has a very well thought out beach sitting area and a perfect dock for fishing, jumping off, or tying a boat to. You'll love the perfect outdoor shower. Location- There are plenty of stores 15-20 min up the road. Not a big choice on local places to eat dinner if you plan on not cooking. It's in a great little neighborhood with a public boat ramp at the top of the street. Overall- It's a lake house that has seen years of happiness and We can't wait for our next stay."
