  • Great place to relax and enjoy FrippFripp!

"We once again enjoyed our stay on Fripp Island. This condo is a great place to stay. We enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing anniversary/Thanksgiving visit, even though my husband needed to work one of the days we were there. The screened in porch overlooking the canal became his office. It doesn't get any better than that, if you need to work. There were a few maintenance issues, but when we let the owner, Bob. know, he said they will be taken care of before the next guests arrive. Thanks to Bob and Allison ! Ps.I only have it a four stars because of the maintenance issues, but those are taken care of, it will be a five. Also the Browers charge very fair rates!"

"Suite was clean. Very comfortable king size bed. Perfect for a couple's getaway! Fripp Island is a must if you've never been! The amenity cards is another plus which was included with this rental. Will return!"

  • Great family vacation

"Had an amazing stay here. Owner was great to work with. Pricing was the best I found on VRBO. Fit well for our family of 3, including a 5 year old. Very clean unit, clean linens and Murphy bed was comfortable. Shower was always hot and good water pressure which is always a selling point when you come in from the beach! Beach was very short walk and extremely convenient. Be careful driving, especially around sunset because there are deer everywhere! Internet is a little slow to load and is an additional fee (5.95 a day or 20.95 a week, which was pretty resonable). There is DISH TV, no DVD player, but if you bring a firestick, chromecast or ROKU, the TV has the right inputs to plug in and cast to the TV. Hunting Island was cool to check out also and is right next to Fripp. There is a lighthouse you can climb up on Hunting Island at one pull off and a pier and small nature center at the other. We were rained out one day and took a trip to Bluffton to catch a movie and bowl/arcade at Station 300 (staying in with a five year old would not have been good). Beaufort was also a really cool town to checkout and has a neat playground on the waterfront if you have kids. We are from SC upstate area and had no clue how beautiful it was on the coast! This was an amazing, low key and relaxing vacation."

  • Captain my Captain (Fripp)

"Had a great, relaxing stay in Captain John Villas. The second and third story condo gave us beautiful views of the ocean and the 2nd story deck was relaxing and peaceful for our morning coffee and reading. It is not the Ritz Carlton, so we felt comfortable with our three kids (14, 11, 9) and was plenty of space for the 5 of us. Had a storage area for bikes and beach gear. A 100 yard walk to a beautiful beach (limiting the lugging), 50 yard walk to the relaxing community pool. Safe, clean, comfortable, with WiFi. We will be back."
