  • Great family vacation

"Had an amazing stay here. Owner was great to work with. Pricing was the best I found on VRBO. Fit well for our family of 3, including a 5 year old. Very clean unit, clean linens and Murphy bed was comfortable. Shower was always hot and good water pressure which is always a selling point when you come in from the beach! Beach was very short walk and extremely convenient. Be careful driving, especially around sunset because there are deer everywhere! Internet is a little slow to load and is an additional fee (5.95 a day or 20.95 a week, which was pretty resonable). There is DISH TV, no DVD player, but if you bring a firestick, chromecast or ROKU, the TV has the right inputs to plug in and cast to the TV. Hunting Island was cool to check out also and is right next to Fripp. There is a lighthouse you can climb up on Hunting Island at one pull off and a pier and small nature center at the other. We were rained out one day and took a trip to Bluffton to catch a movie and bowl/arcade at Station 300 (staying in with a five year old would not have been good). Beaufort was also a really cool town to checkout and has a neat playground on the waterfront if you have kids. We are from SC upstate area and had no clue how beautiful it was on the coast! This was an amazing, low key and relaxing vacation."

  • Great place to Frippicize!

"Fripp Island is a jewel and this villa - located at the perfect spot on the island - is a wonderful place to take it all in! The villa offers all the comforts of home but with a spectacular ocean view and a chance to watch dolphins frolic while drinking your coffee in the morning. The unit is nicely decorated and equipped. We really enjoyed buying fresh shrimp down the road and bringing it back to the unit to prepare it. Once you have been here a day or two it is so comfortable and relaxing it is hard to leave the balcony. If you make it to the beach (steps from the unit) it is hard to leave it to go golfing or golf carting around the island. And leaving the island to take in the charms of Beaufort or Hunting Island takes an effort. No matter what you choose to do during your vacation this is a great place to stay."

  • Beautifully renovated villa with lots of coastal charm

"My husband and I just stayed here for an extended weekend in September and really enjoyed this lovely villa. Completely remodeled throughout and conveniently located to the pool and a short walk to the beach. We so enjoy renting from this owner and look forward to returning very soon! Highly recommend."
