  • Great getaway!

"We have been to fripp many times, this was are second time staying in a john fripp villa. We would highly recommend renting this unit to anyone, David is great he helped us book with ease! His villa was great! Nicely remodeled with plenty of room and close to everything! The beach access was awesome!!!! Will look forward to renting from him again in the future."

  • Tim and Kim Maddock

"This is a wonderful house, only steps away from beach access, and has wonderful amenities. The owners are great people, very willing to help with advice on places to see and eat, as well as being more than accommodating to work with. This will be the ONLY place we would consider staying in for a vacation to Fripp Island!"

  • Great place to stay.

"We stayed at this property for the month of March. The condo was well-equipped, and beautifully decorated with a beach theme, but not overdone. The beds and furniture were comfortable and there was a good supply of towels and kitchen supplies. The patio facing the pool and gated courtyard was lovely for sitting out in the morning with your tea or in the evening with your drink. The pool was not heated but some people still used it. The walk to the beach was a lovely walk and the beach itself is a good hard-packed shore. The owner was excellent to deal with and we would definitely rent here again and recommend it to friends and family."

  • Great family vacation

"Had an amazing stay here. Owner was great to work with. Pricing was the best I found on VRBO. Fit well for our family of 3, including a 5 year old. Very clean unit, clean linens and Murphy bed was comfortable. Shower was always hot and good water pressure which is always a selling point when you come in from the beach! Beach was very short walk and extremely convenient. Be careful driving, especially around sunset because there are deer everywhere! Internet is a little slow to load and is an additional fee (5.95 a day or 20.95 a week, which was pretty resonable). There is DISH TV, no DVD player, but if you bring a firestick, chromecast or ROKU, the TV has the right inputs to plug in and cast to the TV. Hunting Island was cool to check out also and is right next to Fripp. There is a lighthouse you can climb up on Hunting Island at one pull off and a pier and small nature center at the other. We were rained out one day and took a trip to Bluffton to catch a movie and bowl/arcade at Station 300 (staying in with a five year old would not have been good). Beaufort was also a really cool town to checkout and has a neat playground on the waterfront if you have kids. We are from SC upstate area and had no clue how beautiful it was on the coast! This was an amazing, low key and relaxing vacation."
