  • The perfect beach getaway!

"We recently had the pleasure of staying in this villa on beautiful Fripp Island! It is the perfect condo with lots of space inside and outside. We were very pleased that our week end home away from home was immaculately clean when we arrived. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds as are the couches in the living area. The kitchen is well stocked and all appliances are in excellent working order. We especially enjoyed the second floor deck where we were able to watch the sea gulls flying freely on the beach. The first floor patio was also a relaxing place to sit as it overlooks the beautiful sparkling pool. We enjoyed walks on the beach which is only about 100 yards from the villa. We enjoyed sightseeing on the golf cart. A special treat was watching the abundant wildlife on the island especially the deer. We had a delicious meal while watching the gorgeous sunset at the restaurant on the island. We vacationed this time with another couple but we look forward to staying in this condo next time with our children! The owners were very nice and easy to work with! I highly recommend this one!!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at 189 Beach Club Villa. Clean/centrally located. Location was helpful in learning where everything on the island was and what was at each area; which took some time. Next trip, golf cart will be a must. Was blessed to see baby turtles hatch. Amazing! The wild life was a daily blessing. Everyone was really nice. The area was beautiful. We will definitely return. Suggestions: Cooler AC for night time and different rugs in living area. Also, a rug for entrance would be great! Thank you!"

  • Wonderful Week

"This was a great house for us to rent! Our kids were thrilled to be so close to the beach. They each had their own bedroom apart from ours, so we all got some much needed rest. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, including a crockpot. There was a handmixer for us to use for a little baking. My oldest son was working on a cooking merit badge for an Eagle Scout requirement and he had everything he needed to fix us breakfast one morning and then a shrimp feast that night. My husband looked longingly at the crabtraps outside, but he never got around to it. My youngest son and I loved to hang out together on the breezy, shaded screened in porch. And we all enjoyed eating our meals on the table on that porch. The owners were very sweet people to interact with and extremely responsive to anything we needed. At one point, I mentioned to them that there was an issue with the lights on the golf cart. It wasn't something that we expected to be fixed during our stay, but he had someone out there that afternoon to fix it. Some of the things that we enjoyed during our stay included shopping for fresh shrimp at the Gay Fish Co, eating at Dockside, and the Beaufort Shrimp Festival. The fried shrimp made by Sea Dog Market at the festival was delicious and I don't really care for fried shrimp. We also drove back to Port Royal to take the kids to their first drive in movie. I would definitely consider this home for our next vacation. Thank-you for a fantastic week!"

  • convenient and comfortable

"We rented this property on our first trip to Fripp Island. We will be back! We met another couple coming in their own vehicle. The rental was in my name and they weren't listed as guests. They had some initial difficulty getting their parking pass but it was quickly resolved with a call to the security gate from the villa owner Kelly Stoks. Be sure to list the owners of additional vehicles coming to the property. The condo has everything you need. The kitchen is small, but perfectly functional. I set off the smoke alarm cooking bacon-- open the front door if searing/frying foods or if possible, pre-cook those ingredients at home and bring them with you:) Great views, easy beach access, comfortable furniture, friendly island deer, fantastic water pressure in the showers--- we loved it all! We will rent this property again. We celebrated a big birthday at the Saltus River Grill in Beaufort-- pricey, but worth it!! Beautifully plated, delicious food, lovely setting on the waterfront park."
