  • Great quite location

"Unless the fire department has to go out...it is right next door..which can be a good thing. This house is set up nicely, and the view from the screened in porch is wonderful. The beds were comfortable, and surprisingly enough the pillows were too. We stay in a lot of private homes while on vacation, and this was comfortable. The kitchen is set up nicely, and since I love to cook, this was great for me. The had great knives too...but let me suggest that the owner sharpen those expensive Henkels...this place also had two golf carts, but we only used the small one once. It was a bit too chilly for me...unfortunately for us most of the restaurants were not open for the season, and only one pool was heated if you could call it that, but it was fun to have peace and quite for a change. This home was cozy to say the least. Loved watching the deer come up to the house...there was good internet service which was a plus, and it is right on a great biking trail...my hubbie loved biking every morning. The only con for this house was that it could use a bit more cleaning. When we first arrived I went to set things down on the dining table and there were donut glaze all over the table and the kitchen floor had food still on it. The dust bunnies under the love seat were so thick, I don't think the cleaning service moves any furniture to clean....just sayin' we pay a good chunk of change to you so you can clean...make them do their job...get a swiffer duster at least..."

  • Best Week Ever

"I'm almost scared to review this house since I want the house to be available to me all the time! We spent a week here for spring break. Four adults, three tykes, two dogs, and a partridge in a pear tree. The pictures do not do it justice. The layout is perfect: the rooms and bathrooms give you plenty of space to both be together, but have your privacy. The lagoon in front of the house is perfect as it gives you a privacy buffer, as if you need one at Fripp. The property manager is responsive and happy to help. The house is well-appointed, especially for people that love to cook and grill! We cannot say enough about our peaceful time at the Boardwalk. As we left, I emailed the property manager to reserve the same week next year. Book this house, you will feel like it's your own home. So sad to leave, but we will be back!"

  • Another great visit!!

"We have been visiting Fripp Island for years, staying at the Misty Breeze the majority of the visits. It's everything we need! close to the cabana club - great attraction for our 5 and 2 year olds! it's far enough away from the main roads to avoid a lot of traffic, however easy enough for a golf cart ride to all the amenities. the beaches are great - never crowded. the best attraction by far is the view - it's our favorite. A great combination of canal frontage and ocean views. Dolphins greeted us a few mornings, so relaxing and enjoying! highly recommend it to anyone!!"

  • A home away from home!

"We have rented several houses on FI in the last couple decades and this is our 'go to' house! We don't even search online anymore. The location on the island is perfect. The water levels change up and down the beach year round with tides, floods and good ole erosion, but this house ALWAYS has plenty of beach to play on! The beach club is also right across the street w/ pools, shopping and take out food. You also get the bonus of the private dock, which is great when you don't feel like packing up the whole kit n kaboodle to haul to the beach! I don't really need to add that having the 2 golf carts included is a bonus you don't find at all houses. The kitchens VERY well appointed, you really don't need to bring anything from home (incl, coffee pot, crockpot, mixer, fry daddy etc) It might not be the fanciest house on the 'resort' island, but it is always CLEAN and spacious enough for a variety of types of groups. (family, girls trip, fishing trips) I saw a review on the problematic wifi? And its true, thats how it is all over the island. There is a land line phone there too-in case of emergency. We can't recommend this house enough!"
