  • Beautifully renovated villa with lots of coastal charm

"My husband and I just stayed here for an extended weekend in September and really enjoyed this lovely villa. Completely remodeled throughout and conveniently located to the pool and a short walk to the beach. We so enjoy renting from this owner and look forward to returning very soon! Highly recommend."

  • Spectacular View, Spacious Home

"This is my second trip to Fripp Island but the first time staying in this beautiful home. This gorgeous home is spacious, modern, and clean. Four bedrooms downstairs are roomy. And two of the downstairs bedrooms, the enormous master bedroom, and the living room and dining areas offer a spectacular view of the ocean. Cozy, comfortable, and private. Wonderful for families, a group retreat, a girls' weekend, or a reunion. Best ocean-view getaway ever!! Screened-in porch. Wonderful view of island from top deck. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, ice maker, golf cart--all included. I was so blessed to stay in this lovely home."

  • Bing and Sandy, Baton Rouge, LA

"We are Fripp veterans who for many years have rented beachfront or near beachfront houses for the view and sound of the ocean. This home, which we have rented for the past two years, offers a visual spectacle which exceeds those of many beachfront properties, particular ones which are no longer as close to the water because of the shifting shoreline. From the rear deck (south side of the house) as well as from other points inside the house, early risers can be treated to sunrises over the ocean. There are nearby lagoons to the south and west and Ocean Point fairways which border the lagoons. Further enhancing this panorama are frequent visits from blue herons and egrets as well as flights of pelicans and other seabirds higher overhead. Fish jumping from the surface in the lagoons join the party later in the day. By mid afternoon we find the views are at their best with a near fully shaded deck and a westerly breeze which makes you forget that it's mid summer. The house is not to be overshadowed by the exterior views, as it is very clean, comfortable, well decorated and with plenty of room for guests. A large dining area and table make for extra comfort at meal time. The kitchen is well supplied with proper cookware and appliances to prepare most any type of meal. We found the owner to be friendly, helpful and very caring for the comfort of guests. Recommended For: A wide range of age groups - families with children from grade school to young adults., couples who enjoy traveling together, golfers and tennis players, 55+ age groups. • Words cant describe

"As I sit to write this review, I find it extremely difficult to use the right words. We reserved this property for a small family reunion/vacation, 6 adults and 2 kids. There was more than enough space for the 8 of us inside and I would find it hard for any group, no matter the size, to utilize all of the deck space. The interior was nicely done with endless upgrades and the exterior deck was upgraded with a nice composite decking, so no splinters from old beach worn wood in your feet. The house was very kid friendly with games, cards, pool table, and it also had 2 flat screen televisions. There were 2 refrigerators, one upstairs and 1 by the wet bar next to the pool table, so you always had more than enough room to keep your food and beverages cold. Which brings me to my only complaint. The tenant before us must have kept bait in the downstairs refrigerator. The fridge smelled for the first few days and the ice could only be used for the cooler until it cycled through a few times and was wiped clean. Again, there were so many positives I did not even bother the owner. Back to the good. There were 2 high end washers and dryers, so keeping things clean was very easy. Our family loves to cook, we only ate away once, and the kitchen was very well equipped. There were more than enough dishes for serving and just about every utensil one might need was already there. The outdoor shower was a life saver and made it much easier, especially with children, to keep the sand out of the house (there was also a hose next to the stairs that led up from the beach). Next to the hose was a fire pit with your own private tiki hut. I ran the entire beach every morning and did not see another like it. It was very neat and a favorite place to hang out once the sun went down. Most importantly, the location. Perfect. Easy to get everywhere and right on the beach. When you walk through the front door, the first and only thing you see is the ocean due to the wall of windows on the opposite side of the room. They had a Weber grill off the back deck that also faced the ocean, very relaxing when you fill it full of steaks or burgers. The last compliment, because I could go on, goes to the owners. They were always extremely fast to get back in touch with me if I had questions and answered them within 24 hours. I have stayed other places where the paperwork alone was a nightmare. The paperwork was simple, everything was straight forward, and there were no hidde"
