  • Another fantastic stay!

"This was our second vacation at this condo and we loved it again (for a full week this time)! (Two adults and two kids- age 7 & 4) The owner had recently updated the bedroom furniture and added some great perks, like new beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a rolling cooler for guests to use during their stay. These items were key for enjoying long days on the beach! Having a beachfront condo is extra special, so you can even have a great view when cooking dinner. We loved having a free pass to Hunting Island as well, so we could enjoy the state park anytime we wanted. We love the quiet pace of Harbor Island, the multiple pools to choose from, and the wildlife you can encounter and learn about (alligators, sea turtles, etc). Owner is sweet and very easy to work with. Will definitely be back!"

  • Most amazing week ever!

"We parked upon arriving and before unloading anything....ran to the 'back' of the house, the beach. It is the most amazing view you'll ever experience! And...high tide or low tide? You DO have beach! We lived on the huge screened in back porch, all week. The house is clean, well equipped and up to date. We spent little time inside though. It is secluded...that's exactly what we wanted. You are in a state park but far from the coming and going of anyone visiting the park. We essentially had our private beach area. Several sea turtles came on shore to leave eggs/nests the week we were there! We explored the island daily. We visited "Lil' Blue" (the cabin still standing out in the water). We explored the "Bone Yard" of amazing trees the ocean claimed and left on the beach. We saw the remains of the cabins there long long ago. We bought groceries in Beaufort, on our way to the cabin, and didn't go back out except to visit long established and family owned Gay Fish Company (15 mins away). We'd watch the shrimp boats all day (from the back porch) then we would go buy fresh seafood for dinner that evening. If you are looking for swimming pools, water slides, amenity cards, and fast food places.....this is NOT your place to go. If you are looking for natural beauty, tranquility, gorgeous sunsets and "moon rises", shrimp boats, history, and wonderful natural surroundings.....this IS your place to go! We hope to go back.....again and again."

"Condo was SOOOOO CLEAN!!! Very roomy for a studio..pictures do not do it justice.. Bed was very comfortable!! Pillows also comfortable! The condo had everything we needed and some. Condo is right next to the beach which is very helpful when hauling alot of beach toys. The island has alot to see and do. Be sure to bring your bikes or rent some. The best part of the trip is the hospitality. The owners are AMAZING!!! THANKS FOR A MEMORABLE TRIP MARIE!!!"

  • convenient and comfortable

"We rented this property on our first trip to Fripp Island. We will be back! We met another couple coming in their own vehicle. The rental was in my name and they weren't listed as guests. They had some initial difficulty getting their parking pass but it was quickly resolved with a call to the security gate from the villa owner Kelly Stoks. Be sure to list the owners of additional vehicles coming to the property. The condo has everything you need. The kitchen is small, but perfectly functional. I set off the smoke alarm cooking bacon-- open the front door if searing/frying foods or if possible, pre-cook those ingredients at home and bring them with you:) Great views, easy beach access, comfortable furniture, friendly island deer, fantastic water pressure in the showers--- we loved it all! We will rent this property again. We celebrated a big birthday at the Saltus River Grill in Beaufort-- pricey, but worth it!! Beautifully plated, delicious food, lovely setting on the waterfront park."
