  • Another fantastic stay!

"This was our second vacation at this condo and we loved it again (for a full week this time)! (Two adults and two kids- age 7 & 4) The owner had recently updated the bedroom furniture and added some great perks, like new beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a rolling cooler for guests to use during their stay. These items were key for enjoying long days on the beach! Having a beachfront condo is extra special, so you can even have a great view when cooking dinner. We loved having a free pass to Hunting Island as well, so we could enjoy the state park anytime we wanted. We love the quiet pace of Harbor Island, the multiple pools to choose from, and the wildlife you can encounter and learn about (alligators, sea turtles, etc). Owner is sweet and very easy to work with. Will definitely be back!"

  • BEST ROOM IN THE HOUSE

"My trip kind of started off on the wrong foot. But, with a phone call to Annette, I received the help I needed. Fell n love with the screened in porch, so did my furbaby, Buddy. Sitting out there in the evenings with the ocean breezes blowing, being serenaded by crickets and frogs, it quickly became my " happy place.". I packed way too much. Both with clothes, etc. and items that might be needed in the kitchen. Everything 's there and more. Became a beach bum, daily attire swimsuit, cover-up and flip-flops. Took off my watch, put phone on the chager when I got there, lived on island time. Got off the grid for awhile."

  • Wonderful!!

"We just spent a lovely week in this great pet friendly condo! It was very clean, very well supplied with everything you need for a week in a condo & full of special extras. It even had new beach chairs, an umbrella & beach mats. They were very nice and accommodating when we misplaced our key & found it when we returned home. I would highly recommend this condo. We are looking forward to returning. Betty"

  • Perfect get away!

"My 6 year old granddaughter asked me to take her to the beach, while her sister was at camp. How could I refuse? They had just gone to a FL beach with the typical tourist thing going on. I'm not a fan of that environment since I grew up in south FL and was tired of all the people. I found this condo on VRBO.com and it sounded perfect. I emailed Kathy about the 'crowds' on the beach and was reassured there weren't any. We arrived at the condo and it was perfect for us. Very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to stay for four days. The only thing I missed was a non-stick pan for scrambled cheese eggs. LOL! I'll donate one the next time I'm there. The bed was very comfy as well. Internet access was not that great but that's OK. We needed to stay off of it anyway. We were able to get onto Netflix on our iPad, so when we took breaks from the fun in the sun, my little sidekick could watch her shows. We LOVED the little screened in porch and had almost every meal out there. We only ate out twice, since she didn't want to leave the beach.. Picnics on the beach were a HUGE part of the day. Kathy has beach chairs in a closet so I didn't even have to take mine out of the trunk. The boardwalk to the beach was over a bog area where we got to see some turtles and birds. The boardwalk closest to the condo was closed but it wasn't far to the other one. Outside showers are convienent to wash the sand and salt water off before heading inside. The beach was great!!! During low tide, you could walk out and watch the crabs scurry around. Not many seashells though. High tide was great! We could walk out a LONG way without a drop off or deep water. The waves were not the normal ocean waves since it's inland. They were big enough for Brogan to play in and jump over which was fine with me. The beach was NEVER crowded!!! It was AWESOME!!! The pass to Hunter Island State Park was appreciated! What a fun place to visit. Make sure you stop at the Publix before getting on the island. There really isn't anywhere to pick up groceries while there. Kathy was a huge help during our decision making process. She described the area to a tee. We went to Dock Side Restaurant while we were there and it was FANTASTIC!!! Brogan isn't a fan of seafood, so she got the kids cheese pizza. OMG!!!! She said it was the best pizza she has ever had! It was SO GOOD!!!! I would highly recommend L101 to anyone!"
